Ralph organised the surveyor, made lots of constructive suggestions, produced excellent drawings and very quickly secured planning permission for me. There was little for me to do except decide what design I wanted. “Alfie designed our garden room and office and took the project through the planning process. We are delighted with our new bespoke building that attracts so many positive comments from friends, neighbours and family. Alfie is very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. His ideas to vault the ceiling and have an exposed beam running the length of the building just adds to the wow factor. Our project was very small compared to what Alfie usually does, however we were made to feel every bit as important as all the other projects Alfie was running at the time.”

“Last Spring we had the exterior of our rather large Victorian house renovated and redecorated by Alresford Design and Build. We have no technical building knowledge and so relied on Garry and Josh to observe and recommend actions on our behalf. We were invited to inspect any area in question and the alternative actions were clearly and objectively laid out. The end product is (one year on) excellent and we feel that was money well spent. The combination of genuine niceness, expertise, attention to detail and understanding made the whole disruptive process easily bearable. Soon after the work was finished, someone who lives in a nearby street called on us to compliment on the look of the property and asked for the paint colour! These are genuine craftsmen of the old school of thought and deserve patronage.”
