“We have worked with Patricia Brennan Architects on 4 different projects of varying scale - from a kitchen/bathroom remodel to the transformation of a 4-story derelict warehouse into an AIA award winning building of artist live/work spaces. Each experience has left us with a deep appreciation for the work she does and how she does it. Patricia listens closely - she listens to the physical space of the project and she listens to the desires and needs of her clients. She engages in a collaborative dialogue at the outset of a project and continues the dialogue until the project is complete. “I was looking for someone deeply experienced in technical domains, (architecture, construction, and fabrication) to fit the requirements of my custom home, the Galer Street House. Thomas was tasked with production of the interior custom cabinetry and associated custom woodworking. From our first meeting, Thomas’s communication, experience and broad background gave me confidence that he would understand the complex geometries and be able to deliver the high-end quality needed for this application. From the custom handmade walnut cabinets, custom furniture-like features and being always available to help me when the details needed his attention, he delivered. I was not disappointed. In addition, when challenged by architectural details and budget constraints on the exterior of the home, Thomas, owner of Studio Walker Architects, Inc., was able to take a large burden off my shoulders with his durable design/build approach, which was substantially less expensive and also resulted in a better overall appearance. “Gerald was excellent at creating a unique design for a home that was located on a highly difficult to develop lot. This lake property had many restrictions and a difficult county to work with. Gerald was able to stay within the restrictions and still create an amazing design. He was also able to connect us with several excellent general contractors. We will definately work with Gerald again!”

“They say it says a lot when a contractor hires an Architect to do design on his personal home, and it should say a lot about Skip. Skip did a great job listening to my wife and I dream up the list of remodel priorities we had for our out dated 60's waterfront rambler, and put into design exactly what we were hoping to accomplish. He was able to project not only his own costs in Architect fees accurately, but was also very savvy of current construction costs and kept his design in great relation to our budget. I highly recommend Skip's services and will look forward to our next great project together.”
