“We were really delighted with the designs from the General Architecture company for remodeling our Edwardian house. Kevin and his colleague really listened to our needs and came up with a design that was in keeping with the age of the property that maintained original features, whilst incorporating our needs for fish tanks, bike storage, and light! The design also allowed completion in stages to minimise disruption for family life. Kevin was able to answer queries promptly and help with all aspects of the planning process. Highly recommended."”

“Maya worked closely with us to produce layouts and building regulation submission for the proposed conversion of an attached garage to extend the existing kitchen, create a utility and a 3rd bedroom/study with ensuite at our property in Kingswinford. Maya was extremely professional and prompt with her responses. She sourced a structural engineer to carry the structural design required for the proposed modifications. “Full set of drawings for single floor extension to rear of the house. Drawings were completed to an agreed time frame and amended at my request without delay. A full brief was carried out before drawing work started with Matt explaining what may be best for such an extension. The only amendments i needed to make was the roof covering as the zinc proposed (my choice) worked out very expensive so asked for an alternative and again was given advise without any hassle. Overall a very good service and would recommend to anybody in the future.”

“Our grade two listed 400 year old cottage is situated in as sensitive conservation area. There were many challenges, not least, ensuring our neighbours were happy with the end result. David's expertise in all aspects is outstanding. The planning officer considered the finished product to be one of the best and most harmonious relationships and our parish council, believes our cottage to be the showcase of the village. The brief was to be sympathetic to the age and area, but contemporary and fundamentally our home. David took our brief and enhanced -by discussion- virtually every aspect of the design and build. This was a big, complex project lasting nine months. Four years on, we wouldn't change any detail. We would be delighted to speak or indeeed show our beautiful cottage to any prospective client. Additionally, David is a delight to work with and a major part of the success was due to David's calm, diligent and professional manner throughout.”

“The job that my wife and I engaged Hawkes Edwards to do was something of a challenge, it was an extension/conversion of a grade 2 listed Georgian townhouse,which also happened to be in a conservation area in Stratford-on-Avon to be precise. Trevor and his team were excellent through all stages of our project, the consent and planning approval were seamless which relieved us of any potential stress. It was a pleasure to work with Trevor and his team and we can honestly say what they did totally transformed the house, merging the former Georgian glory with a 21st century home and thus creating one of Stratford's finest houses. “My project was a dining room extension to a 3 bedroom bungalow. This is my first time using an architect and Glyn was fantastic. Took on board what I was after and suggested improvements where necessary. He went to a lot of trouble to find a first class builder for me who did the work in quick time and high quality and with only occasional input from me as the property was empty during the works.”
