“Complete kitchen and living area remodel as well as master bedroom addition. Ellyn's timeless design helped us gain the full potential of our 50+ year old home. We have storage, open floor plan and flow which were lacking in the original home. Her idea of open shelving in our kitchen is one of my favorite features. Skylights in the master bathroom bring in natural light while maintaining privacy.”

“Purva Design Studio was amazing in the design and build-out of our office and showroom. It was a challenging project that required a full remodel and gut of the entire space. Her knowledge of both architecture and construction led us to work with her over some of the other design firms we had interviewed. We get many compliments from our customers, and have now referred her to many other companies and friends we know who had complex new builds and remodels. Additionally, after our office, the firm also did a large remodel for our house. Once again this was pretty complex, and their ability communicate with all the contractors and sub-contractors on our site helped save us a lot of money and time. Highly recommend!”

“I have known Steve for about 3 years and we have worked together on numerous projects. Steve is very professional, is very knowledgeable about the construction industry. When he meets with a new client he listens to there needs and desires, he works witin the budget set by the client. When he has the drawings complete he sets down with the client and contractor goes over every detail of the drawings. After the project has started he stays in contact with the contractor to make sure everything is going smoothly, if there is a problem he comes to the job site and will help resolve the issue. “We hired David Benners to help us with a remodel of our old kitchen based on a recommendation of a friend in another city. His attention to details like the upper and lower 'reveal', the unusual shape of the peninsula, including a well designed hidden pantry, giving the cook a zone without interfering with other kitchen activity, emphasizing height that flows out of the living room space,etc. made a huge difference in the result. He also worked well with our contractor. He really listened to my concerns about functionality and turned them into art. He also accepted the constraints like finite amount of money and didn't complain (too much...:-) as well as didn't lose interest because of my 'eclectic' taste in furniture. In the end starting with an architect to give this project initial shape and direction pretty much cured my aversion to remodeling. It wasn't cheap, but the final value was much more than simply $$ spent. We are grateful for his artistic and professional contributions to this job.”
