““From the moment I saw Alan’s sample portfolio I knew I was dealing with a genuine professional. We initially brought Alan a sample plan we had drawn up, but realized that plan would cut off our view of the beautiful trees throughout the property, and (because I am a artist) I also needed to have an art studio built in somehow. A few weeks later, Alan showed us his idea—to angle the garage (instead of taking it straight back) which would completely open the view out back and create a unique vortex-shaped art studio space. All we could say was “WOW!” Now, everyone who sees and talks to us about our new house, compliments us on this unique and creative architectural feature. Alan took our ideas and pushed them to a whole new level and the 3-D views Alan showed us throughout the process, were spectacular. “Jesse was instrumental in the architecture and design of our remodel. She is highly professional and knowledgeable. She is very efficient and knows how to get the "job done". From every aspect of the project starting with initial architectural blueprints and CAD files, down to the minutest details of flooring, tile, fixtures, fittings, color schemes and furniture choices Jesse was one of the main leads on our team. She was also able to help negotiate with the contractor and was instrumental in helping us secure a refund after our ceilings weren't able to be a high as initially planned.”

“The best way to describe if one likes or dislikes their builder is if they continue to work with them. Greg Burrus built our Norton Common House 10 years ago. We chose his construction over others due to his creativity, craftsmanship, and quality of materials. When ever we've needed him he has always been their immediately for us. So when it was time to finish our basement 5 years later, Greg was our first choice. No he wasn't the cheapest. Their are plenty of cheap builders around. He is the best and there is no free lunch. Now we are talking to Greg about a major addition or perhaps even a new house. That's how much we respect the work he does along with his associate Scott Tomes. So if you are looking for a quality builder...Look no further than Burrus Architecture & Construction. I also noted a negative review on Google. It is obviously a fraud most likely by a competitor. First for what it says and factually for what the claim about the way things are done in Norton Commons. Google will not remove a comment even after protest and hence it is still inappropriately here.”

“I had Emma help in designing a small 480sf apartment which would include a kitchenette, bathroom, bed and living space above an existing garage. She was able to help focus my ideas and vision for the space. She helped with floor layout options, roofline ideas and created working blueprints for the project. It was quite an enjoyable experience working with Design Farm.”

After the first drawing, we had very few changes to make and Bill was able to quickly turn those plans around into finished drawings. He brings a wealth of experience to the table at a very affordable price for his services.
