Cindy Boerner Architect
Architectes sur Sussex, NJ
Note moyenne : 5 étoiles sur 523 septembre 2014
“Cindy was our architect for a tear-down/rebuild of our home. My wife and I found Cindy to be very insightful and creative, offerred us lots of options in design, and never expressed concern or hesitation in drafting or constructing some complicated elements we wanted in the home. She brought knowledge, experience and enthusiasm, but most of all comfort to a project which could otherwise have been a stressfull experience. Without question, we would hire Cindy again in the future without the need to go to bid.”

“Xiomara and team completed the design for our project - a 3 story addition to our 1920's home. We are in the process of adding a finished basement/media room, first floor mud room/powder room/family room, second floor master suite, and third floor bedroom/bath. We chose to work with Xiomara because of her focus on seemlessly incorporating the new with the old - you cannot tell we have even done an addition. Our project was complex and required reworking the entire clay tile roof line. Our house now functions beautifully. Xiomara had many great ideas and she took our rough concept of what we needed and has transformed our home. I would highly recommend Xiomara and her team.”

“I contacted Mr. Gogan about a condo I own that needed rehab. Mr. Gogan responded very quickly and gave me a great deal of advice without asking for a retainer, or fee. He was extremely generous with his time and advice, reaching-out to permitting and other approval authorities on his own (with my OK, of course). I found/find his advice, insight, experience and initiative very valuable and reassuring. I look forward to continuing to work with him through to completion.”

“I had the pleasure of knowing and working with the owners of Z+ Architects on mutual clients projects and it was a wonderful experience. I am a big believer in collaborating with like minded people and professionals, so working with Mike and Mary Scro (both owners) was very easy and enjoyable. Simply we strive for the same things, designs that are thought provoking, but more importantly, suit the site and the clients needs, function, budget and life style. They clearly love what they do and are so incredibly accountable, sincere and committed to their craft and clients, that is why I hired them for my personal residence. They listen to your needs, goals, objectives and financial expectations. They process and process again, in order to flush out the best answers and results. The most important thing that I immediately noticed and felt from these professionals, is that they truly care about what they do and what their clients need. That is a quality that can't be measured and is equally important to me as a person. They want you to be completely satisfied and show that through their effort and commitment. I hope you will find out for yourself what we experienced first hand!!”

“Dan is the most thorough architect I have ever worked with. He is very communicative and honest throughout the entire process. Not only do I work with Dan professionally as an interior designer, but he also did my own house and not only was he very creative, but he helped me stay on my budget and thought of innovative ways to reconfigure spaces. I cannot say enough great things about his services!”
BMG Design/Build LLC

“Boaz Golani, principal of BMG Design/Build designed and project managed an extensive renovation of our 1920s Tudor-revival house, focussing on kitchen and bathroom. The work required fully demolishing the spaces, to the studs, replacing wiring and plumbing, and executing a redesign which was true to the period details of the house, but kicked the whole place up a couple of levels in convenience and elegance. Golani was brilliant in his aesthetic and practical creative problem solving. He sourced and managed fine craftsmen, and was onsite everyday, keeping the job on time and budget. Few clients are as fortunate as we were in achieving all and more than we expected without any pains except the inevitable one of writing checks.”

Arturo Palombo Architecture

“I am writing this letter today to attempt to summarize my respect, admiration, endorsement and gratitude I have for Arturo Palombo and the members of his team. I feel I owe it to whoever reads this that I provide some background information. In April 2010, my wife Amy and I purchased a home in Chester, NJ. It is a mid 1800’s reproduction that was about 20 years old when we purchased it. When we identified the house, it was on the right street for us and met most of our needs, but clearly needed to be updated. Being married to an Architect and having done a major renovation on our New York City apartment, we felt we were up to the task of making this house our home. We started in the usual fashion, getting recommendations from friends, reading through design magazines and talking to “one stop” kitchen designers and installers. After several months, we were not able to find anyone who would take the time to get to know us a bit and find out what we were really trying to accomplish. Then, one day, I was thumbing through a magazine and I saw a kitchen that I knew my wife would love. It was at a house in Madison, NJ. Needless to say, with the use of the internet, I was able to find out it was designed by Arturo Palombo Architecture, of Morristown, NJ. The rest, as they say is history….. Art, as he likes to be called, came to our house and we learned about his work on historical buildings, and he learned about our small, but growing family. He asked us questions like how are you going to use the space and made gentle suggestions to a design that, while we thought was perfect, but would have never worked. If I had to summarize things, Art saved us from ourselves. We knew we wanted to open the family room, kitchen and dining room up to make the space flow, for example, but tearing down the wall was not the answer. Art suggested creative use of cabinetry to divide the space, without making it feel choppy or detached. We were so impressed with his ideas and vision, we let him design 3 new bathrooms, a Laundry Room, our Mud Room and add things like a Pantry and Cubbies for the kids that we would have never dreamt of. Art connected us with tile designers that were more than just order-takers, but actual contributors to the project. He was able to communicate our sense of style to them which made the whole process more meaningful. This did not end up costing more than a trip to the Home Depot and having to fend for ourselves. Art worked closely with the General Contractor, always looking out for our best interests. As a matter of fact, he greatly exceeded my expectation of the amount of time he would spend during the actual construction phase. To be completely frank, I repeatedly asked him to charge me more for the services he provided, because in good conscience I could not stand by and watch him work for free. He never complained or minded, because it is obvious that he really loves what he does. In the end, we now have a house beyond our wildest dreams, for much less than we would have spent if we did these projects piece by piece. At resale time, which is many, many years away, we will not have to explain the quality and expertise that went into this project. It will be obvious, and we will have one person to thank for that, Art Palombo. Please feel free to call or email if you would ever like to come and see our home or ask any questions of my wife or I. Respectfully, Anthony Cuiffo”
