“Michael Hyde of MJH Construction recently did complete renovation of my 3,000 ft.2 home including all plumbing, electric, windows, roof, HVAC, floors, etc. He did a wonderful job. The work is immaculate. He is very good at staying on top of the subs and negotiating a good deal. He is also very honest. His price was very competitive.”

“Michael Tauber did an excellent job of designing an addition for our Spanish style house in Albany, CA. Michael proved to be very innovative in coming up with a design that complemented the Spanish style, but also satisfied our needs for a more modern interior. One of our major needs was to be able to provide space for our large collection of books. Michael's design admirably provided such space, while making the library space very interesting. We highly recommend Michael Tauber.”

“My husband and I were in search of the perfect house that had to satisfy both our needs. The only thing we seemed to agree on was that the location had to be in Marin County. After almost 7 long years of renting, we finally found the perfect location on a street we were both in love with but unfortunately the house was far from what either one of us liked as it was way too small for our family of four and the one bathroom was the size of a phone booth! We then searched for an architect that would be able to give us both what we wanted and could see our vision and blend it together. After interviewing several different architects and feeling like they didn’t “get us” we moved on and were fortunate enough to have met Eric who was a referral from our real estate agent. He listened and really understood the look and feel each one of us wanted. When we saw the plans he designed for us, we were beyond delighted! He took our 1400 square foot home and turned it into a 3500 sqft. dream home that has everything we both had always wanted in the most creative and family friendly way. He put a lot of thought and care into our house and we couldn’t be happier with his brilliance, creativity, work ethic, honesty, and dedication.”

“McCoppin Studios did a great job on a very extensive remodel to our home in Palo Alto. They took our objectives (make the house lighter and more modern) and ran with them, coming up with concepts to raise ceilings upstairs and add skylights, add a gorgeous nanawall door that improved flow to backyard. They are unusual in that they are a small firm that tackled all elements of the job - dealing with really detailed stuff like the lighting and plumbing schedules and making sure that everything got ordered properly to the broad concepts like overall flow and layout. They were responsive to our feedback and we got to a result we are very happy with. Highly recommend.”

Our home is a combination of Italian and French design. Everything was done to a tee! “Wow! We can't really say enough about how great Matt was to work with. We came to him after already having some pretty solid ideas, but he did a fantastic job of walking the line between respecting what we had already decided and adding some suggestions that might work better. After being frustrated with a lack of response from contractors, painters, tilers, and others involved in a remodel, it was so refreshing to find Matt and his promptness in replying to our emails. Having gotten used to having to wait a few days to hear from others, it was so great to hear back from Matt within a few hours. Matt was extremely helpful with linking us up with engineers and other subcontractors, including working with the city regarding permits and passing along some discounts that he was able to get for certain supplies. We have already recommended him to a few other friends and would not hesitate to do so again in the future.”
