“LKM Design completed a whole house renovation (and major addition) with us. I say "with us" versus "for us" intentionally. She listened to all of our thoughts , comments, concerns during the design process. In turn, this lead to a very smooth construction process. She was a true professional, as was her staff. I would highly recommend her for any project!”

In many cases we were frustrated with the input we were receiving, so we began looking at timber frame plans because of their openness and creativity. It seemed that an architect familiar with timber framing had a special eye for the type of features we were looking for in our home. We contacted them and we were pleasantly surprised when they informed us that they were happy to assist in designing a home that accommodated our needs. We were frustrated because we had general design ideas but couldn't put it all together and needed the creativity of an architect. “Thank you Kate for helping us to brainstorm ideas, design and assist in creating our forever dream home with your thoughtful and mindful architectural suggestions! You listened intently to our vision to produce a structural design that would work with our existing home, built in 1985, and stay within waterfront protection restrictions and open up striking views of the water from nearly all directions. With new windows and wall of glass sliding doors, we can’t believe how much natural light has been added to our home. We wake every morning seeing and feeling the warmth of the sunrise to start our day peacefully, calm and stress free. We now feel so connected to the outdoors, being able to view all the wildlife in their natural habitat. Many of our neighbors also comment on how beautiful and tastefully done the exterior of the home is and how it continues to fit into the charm of the Henniker area despite the large additional footprint. You are an extremely talented and trusted local professional gem who is creative, easy to work with, and very responsive given the timeline and budget for our project. “Karina is a joy to work with! My husband and I consulted with Karina to try to figure out how to make our house work for us, my in-laws and our growing family. She had some wonderful ideas about how we could make it work. Ultimately, we decided to buy another house but are looking forward to working with her on my dream kitchen remodel once we get settled. I highly recommend working with her! She is so easy to get along with and really takes the time to understand what your vision is and advise you on what may or may not work.
