“Wow!!! Amazing results; better than expected or promised. My neighbor referred me after I saw the complete overhaul Marwood Construction had done to his entryway and living room; transformed! They doubled the size of their living room (added a fireplace and a wall of windows looking out on his yard) and added a half bath to the entryway. He was so pleased I'm surprised he hasn't left a review. I hired Marwood Construction to remodel and expand both my kitchen, master bedroom, bath and closet. The owner himself, Patrick Martin, personally came out and to give me a quote. He was knowledgeable and professional, albeit a few minutes late (he did call to let me know he was held up on another job). His quote was very competitive with the others I'd gotten, but it was Mr. Martin's vision and expertise that was the tipping point. He seemed to know everything about the construction of my older home built in the mid '60's, the challenges we'd face with my electrical and plumbing systems, and his suggestions were first rate. He caught things the other contractors had overlooked and easily won my confidence. The other issue was that I needed it completed before the holidays when my family would be in town. He had some other projects on the books so he couldn't promise, -made that clear, but he delivered!!! My giant, beautiful chef's kitchen was completed just in time for Thanksgiving. It was such a luxury to prepare our meal in my new big, gorgeous kitchen, with enough room for everyone to congregate and not get in my way! I was so proud of my fabulous kitchen. Marwood really exceeded my expectations!!! My bedroom used to be a tiny, dark cave with a very dated bathroom and a single closet (my husband had to use the guest room closet). When Marwood Construction finished, it is now my favorite space in the house! In the master closet we built a large marble island with drawers (including a hidden jewelry safe too, no more safety deposit box needed!), a shoe wall, a separate cedar closet and a sitting area. Our master closet is the envy of all of my friends and I feel like a movie star while dressing. We tripled the size of our bedroom, with floor to ceiling windows, a stone fireplace and french doors leading to a private patio. It is truly the master retreat I've always wanted! Overall, I couldn't be happier with Marwood Construction. I plan to use them again to update the family room. They were very timely, cleaned up their mess before they'd leave for the day, without any hidden/additional cost. Mr. Martin is the utmost professional and visionary!”

“Chris Dickey and his coworker Patricio did an EXCELLENT job on our fireplace wall to install the stacked stone we selected. We procured the stone, but they handled all other tools and materials. They were great to work with, were professional, and did a great job especially around the tough curvature of our fireplace mantle! They were very responsive to our concerns throughout the project and respected our house and our baby's sleep schedule even! Highly recommend. The wet saw and some cement they left behind killed some of our grass in the backyard, but doesn't prevent the 5 star rating overall.”

I had a time limit for my kitchen and bathroom remodel and all were completely finished a day ahead of the schedule. The work was professionally done and the outcome is so beautiful. “Partial remodel of a 1939 Georgian home in the Southgate neighborhood in Houston. Work included partial remodel of two bathrooms, install of a new tankless water heater and solar attic fan, install of a full deck in the Attic, new concrete walkway, 2 new doors, hardwood floor install in the kitchen , etc. Work done to a very good quality standard. Excellent communications with Company Owner Greg Simmons, who was a regular presence on the job site. The 2 month project completed on schedule, at end-January 2016.. Would highly recommend Greg and B&W for similar projects !!”

Also a mud room, laundry room, some fixing in the existing house and redo the garage. We hired Sneller Custom Homes and Remodeling for the job. All these jobs were done while we were living in our current house. They are very professional, they helped us with the design, and ideas to better put in black and white what we wanted to do. Also, they worked with us to get things done inside the current living space to better accommodate our needs. The communication with Matt Sneller was great, if something was not as expected he took care of the situation. Great communication skills, and very professional in what he does.
