“As I began my search for a contractor to do some major renovations on my house, I found the task a bit daunting to say the least. I set aside a couple of days from work and spent them interviewing potential contractors. Nearing the end of the second day, I still hadn’t found someone I was totally sold on, then in walked Kurt Ozbey. I immediately knew he was the one I wanted working on my house. He has a very easy manner and I trusted him from the start. He told me he only does one job at a time and would be at my house every day until it was finished. And that is exactly what he did. Not only is he professional and reliable, he did a fabulous job. I live in a very old house in Georgetown: he knew how to work around all the problems that entails. This was no small job. Kurt and team, completely renovated my kitchen, bathroom, built two closets, replaced three windows, a door and put a toilet in my basement. I now have a brand new house. Without hesitation, I would recommend Masters for any job you are considering. I had a fantastic experience working with Kurt and I can honestly say, I don’t know anyone who talks about their contractor like I do.”

“I have had PLF work on a variety of projects. They did the kitchen in my tenant's house as well as the entire floors of the house where I am currently living. Pascual and Andrea are a joy to work with. They are very hard working, detail oriented, and are always available for any questions. They have a great work ethic and are also just very pleasant people. I have always been impressed that they leave the worksite better than they found it. Even during the jobs that they are doing they make sure that the area is clean and in order. I have never had any problems with the work that they do in fact quite the opposite. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough!”

They worked closely and tirelessly with us to develop a design for our master bath transforming it into a stunning masterpiece. The team was timely, responsive, competent, courteous, flexible, and very considerate in the execution of the construction. They were also very clean and efficient, finishing ahead of schedule. His bid was very competitive and the contract was very clear and straight forward. He knew of code and other restrictions that other contractors tried to hide or leave out of their bids. He was quick to respond to my calls and questions. We simply could not be happier with the way it turned out and with the process. We thoroughly enjoy every aspect of the design of our new bathroom! “My Wife and I chose to hire C&D Company when we purchased our new home in DC in February 2015. The house was built in 1937 and was never renovated up until 2015 so we had to go through a full renovation of the entire house including the basement and the backyard to bring it up to today's standard of living. We consulted friends and family and C&D came with the highest amount of recommendations and when we contacted them, we found Dago to be very responsive and thorough during the interview, budget and contract process. This also continued during the actual construction, they managed to complete the renovation on time and with high quality of work. The team is very professional and also considerate of the neighborhood and so naturally we received complements from our neighbors on the same. Now, its almost two years since completion of the initial project and Dago is still helping us with any issues that come up at the house periodically. We will certainly recommend him to our friends and family and will consider him for our future projects!”

“Between 2002 and 2003, Michael Ipsan/Horizon took a small 1,800 square foot circa 1942 farmhouse and integrated an addition that more than tripled the size of the house and resulted in a beautiful contemporary farmhouse, with upgrades to plumbing, electrical, windows and siding in the original part of the house. The integration was seamless and the project came in on-time and on-budget, with wonderful workmanship. While we had retained an architect for the overall design, Michael made many useful suggestions on tweaks to the design that significantly improved the outcome. The kitchen and pantry were recognized by HGTV in their American Home 2005 show, and in 2008 the house was recognized with a spot on the Historic Garden Week in Virginia tour, both testaments to the quality of the construction. We've had other friends who've had nightmare construction projects with other builders; our experience was exactly the opposite. Warranty issues were minor, and Horizon has stood behind the construction even to this day. In the years since it was completed we've been happy to have Michael walk other prospective clients through the house to see what was done, which speaks to our respect for his work and honesty. We can highly recommend Horizon to anyone considering a custom home builder.”
