“David remodeled our bathroom and did a great job! The house is over 100 years old and of course there were many things not right. He was able to plumb the walls and floors, fix the plumbing and electrical and get an 8 foot marble slab stone shower installed. David is very seasoned and has the gamut of skills to complete almost any job - from rough construction, foundations to installing cabinetry, hanging door and crown moulding. He will always try to make it right and not take the short cut just to complete the job. He is very precise in his work. If you want quality and attention to details, then David is your contractor.”

“Manny Lopez and his team of professionals completed a full remodel of the landscaping projects we desired around our home last year. All of the work was top quality and done to our satisfaction. He coordinated his team's work with other contractors installing solar, and a large swim spa, as well as a complex deck. There were no disagreements with other workmen on the projects, and the advance planning allowed for the use of heavy machinery where needed, concrete deliveries, and other materials for all the other projects. Regarding ideas we had for the way we wanted the final project to look, Manny provided timely ideas, excellent solutions that were cost effective or even saved money, and he always came in on time. He kept us appraised of the project progress, items that need to be adjusted, and included changes we asked for as the project went along. He came in on budget. My wife and I have built homes before, renovated apartment properties, improved commercial and condo projects, so we have worked with many contractors over the years. Manny is the best.”

“I worked with Chad, the owner, on the redesign of my 1,000 square feet home, which includes a master bathroom addition and a new roof structure. Chad is easy to work with and his past experience as general contractor is very valuable when designing while paying attention to the overall building budget. He is a Green Building Professional and is on top of new products on the market. What I liked most is that he is very open minded about materials that he hasn't worked with and he did quite some research to give me professional advise. Chad does plan heated floors, which was the selling point for me when I was looking for a designer. Getting to know him over the course of the design project confirmed that he is a true expert in various areas. If I get stuck during construction and need independent advice, it is a peace of mind that I can always call Chad and get his opinion.”

“Seacliff was our top choice for a bathroom remodel, requiring complete updating but also a structural change in the roof. The contractor, Lennox Smith, competently led a skilled team including a structural engineer and specialists in tile, wood, cabinetry, and glass. We were exceedingly happy with their workmanship, reliability/professionalism, persistence in working with city planning, and dedication to keeping our project within the budgeted amount. We were out of the state when the remodeling took place. However, we never worried about the care taken by Seacliff, and our trust was well placed. We recommend Seacliff without reservations.”

“Kitchen and master bath remodel. Also deck redone off of master bedroom. We were extremely pleased with all of the work that John did for us. The project was finished ahead of schedule. John stopped by our job every morning to discuss what was going to be done that day. They were extremely helpful in helping us to make decisions on the materials to select. All of the sub-contractors working with John were very professional and completed the work in a timely manner.”

“We hired Hare Construction to do a kitchen remodel and we could not be happier. Timing: the timing we were given as a restaurant was super important to us and seemed pretty impossible. Hare met every single deadline and went above and beyond when hit with unexpected difficulties to keep us on track so that we could be opened and operational when promised. Scope of work: we were given detailed schedules of work and installs that were all met (despite complications with equipment deliveries and specs). Follow up: we were given a binder with everything that was relevant to the work including equipment, specific upgrades, vendors involved etc. Communication: It has become a joke in our company that while everyone has a construction horror story, our contractor does everything we need when we need it, without any follow up on our part. If you are looking for the typical Contractor this is not the company for you. . .if you want the a-typical Contractor that provides great communication and meets all deadlines. . .with professional friendly workers and amazing support and follow up then they are worth every penny. Two thumbs up.”

“I have been "flipping" houses successfully for 15 years and Eric Lamascus (Owner) of Elite Construction is by far the best contractor I have worked with. He does what most other contractors fail to do: Show up when he says he will, stay within a budget and finish the job on time. All of these are very important to me, as remodeling homes is my business and my livelihood. My first project with Eric was in 2007. The 1200 SF house was a real "fixer'. Today it is a beautiful contemporary 2000 SF home with a 1000 SF ocean view deck. Everything was redone and the house doubled in value in just a few months. The kitchen and bathrooms were standouts (pictures above).

I personally worked on the job site with the Elite crew everyday. They were always on time, knowledgeable, hard working and polite. Eric had an excellent understanding of the job and what my goals were, and translated that to the crew. His ability to problem solve is outstanding. He also had great sub-contractors that did all the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, cabinets, roof and drywall under his supervision. 

 Since the first project, I've continued to work with Elite on several more projects, including work on my own residence in Santa Cruz. 

Whether you have a large or small job, I couldn't recommend Elite Construction more highly. I'm sure you will be pleased with their professional attitude, work ethic and workmanship.”
