There wasn't room for a dinning table and chairs so the craftsman built a custom breakfast nook that became the center of my house for entertaining and meals. “We are new to Colorado so I went to my Houzz site to look for a contractor to finish our basement. We called three contractors and Tim was the only person to return our call. We can't say enough about Tim's work and his work ethic. He showed up everyday (not a crew) and stayed on schedule. He listened to our ideas and concerns and was very flexible. The inspections went seamlessly and we are about a week from having a beautiful media room in our basement. We liked his work so well we asked him to build a pergola for us. I highly recommend Tim Kelly for any home improvement project. Update: Tim and Tyler came as planned to build our pergola which isn't really a pergola but a beautiful outdoor space. It met all our expectation! It is an outstanding work of skilled craftsmanship in every detail. It was finished by spring we have enjoyed it everyday this summer.”

“Owner, Lain, superintendent, Mat, and office manager/interior designer, Kim, offer the utmost professionalism and decorum, and they hire skilled professionals who show the same courtesy. They added an apartment on the first floor of our home, so that my father-in-law could live with us. So, the kitchen had to be removed, and it became an open space adjacent to our new dining room. A brand new kitchen was added on to the back of our house, and they also built a new sun room next to it. We now have an open kitchen and dining room, which is very appealing. Our old dining room became my father-in-law's new bedroom, which is right next to his sun room/sitting room. Since we added hardwood floors with the new addition, the builder had to stain the old floors to match the new, darker ones. We also had them remove the carpet on the stairs and put hardwood with white stringers on them. New white, pedestals and spindles were added to update the look. Fresh paint, new appliances, trim, lighting, electrical and a bench for snow boots completed the project. Solid Rock Custom Homes made our house into a home, and we couldn't be happier!”

“We moved from California to Colorado and bought a house that had never been updated since it was built in 1980. It looked awful but had good bones. It had carpet throughout, linoleum, separate but large kitchen, popcorn ceilings, windows that needed replacing, orange peel wall texture, no mantle on the 15x20ft moss rock fireplace, small wood baseboards and door casings, no lighting or ceiling fans, outdated window coverings in the living room that actually had an insert into the wall to accompany some of the thick curtains, square corners, a mirrored wetbar in the long hallway with a 'cat perch' or landing for plants on top of it, thin plank stair rails, 1980 appliances, etc. I interviewed several interior designers and remodelers for this and decided to go with Andy Sikora of Sikora Construction & Remodel & his wife,. Kathy at Speas Interior Design. I knew it was a huge project and wanted someone who had extensive experience and testimonials so I went with him and his wife's company. Working together as a design and remodel team, his crew got to work tearing down walls in between the kitchen and dining, opening up entry ways, tearing out wetbars, rebuilding the kitchen and cabinet space including framing, sheetrock, hvac, building stairwalls, retexturing, painting, trimwork, gas, plumbing, electrical and lighting, backsplash installation and whatever else was on the scope of work to open up the kitchen into the dining and living room and make an updated, open concept living area. Andy and his crew were very professional, got things done quickly and expertly, cleaned up after themselves, were polite, positive and a joy to work with. He provided a detailed scope of work at the beginning and then monthly thereafter, we chose what we wanted to do, any change orders needed to be signed off by us and there were no financial surprises.. I was also glad I hired Sikora Construction and Speas Interior Deisgn because I wanted flawless communication between the design and construction so we did not waste time or energy to complete this remodel. I highly recommend Sikora Construction and Speas Interior Design for any of your remodeling work.”
