There were a number of recommended and qualified builders in the area, but what made BVH stand apart to us, was that they guide you through the shopping process of line items, such as cabinets, lighting, flooring, etc, and you start off with a dollar figure very close to the final, rather than getting an "allowance" and having surprises come mid-build. This helped us, in that we were over budget when we selected our products, and were able to sit down and make adjustments before a shovel hit the ground. The result is a home with most of the amenities we hoped for, and the style and finishes we desired. Along with this, communication with them is smooth and efficient, and they were able to handle any problems as they arose, and with a calm that was amazing in light of some of the issues.
