They managed all aspects of the project with creative solutions and to exacting standards of themselves as well as their chosen sub contractors. Cannot recommend them enough!”

“Completely renovated our log cabin. They came in and demo'd it. Removing the drop down ceiling, making the whole log cabin 1 big gathering room (the lodge) with cathedral ceiling. They moved the stairs leading to unfinished basement (now finished), replaced all the windows in the log cabin, new ash flooring, new kitchen cupboards,added kitchen island, and countertops, notched out logs to fit new appliances. Also finished basement with new bedroom, laundry room, family room, bathroom and my favorite, "a craft room" from what used to be a "cluttered hall". Also added slider walk out door to patio area and outside shower. I have pictures from beginning to now, but don't have them on my work computer, can supply from my "patti.lou.who@hotmail.com" account upon request.”

“Salamander Construction remodeled a circa 1940's camp for us at Lake Dunmore, Vermont. I highly recommend them. They did an excellent job in a design/build capacity. They took a seasonal cabin and transformed it into a 4 bedroom, 2 bath 4 season home, new kitchen, new bathrooms, new electric. The home blends perfectly with the surroundings. It is now so well insulated that we can keep it very livable with just a couple of logs in the wood stove. Jed and his workers are all very professional- and they left the property in excellent condition. Jed currently acts as my property manager and prepares the property when we want to visit in the winter.”

“My wife and I built our dream home in Stowe, Vermont. Our relationship with Travis Cutler a partner at Donald Blake was most enjoyable, considering the size of this undertaking. We established a fixed price at the out set and knew any extras would be an additional cost. My wife who is an interior designer and who designed the whole house was very efficient and made sure all details would be submitted on time. So from the original estimation of 19 months the house was completed in 16 months. Our architect Cushman Design Group did not need to supervise, since he had complete confidence in the builders capabilities. All the crew were very professional and they took great pride in their work and it showed in the finish product. We would highly recommend Donald Blake Jr. for any future building projects.
