“Over the past 20 years I have had projects large and small completed at two homes by Hawkeye and/or its leaders. These have included major room additions, kitchen/bath/bedroom remodels, decks/porches/pergolas, fences, an outdoor kitchen, custom built-ins, etc. The common denominator in my experience has been the incredible creativity and careful execution of the work. The work Hawkeye has done for me over the years has transformed living spaces – I have a kitchen that is larger and more usefully laid out than could be imagined, a laundry room where I couldn’t have envisioned a laundry room, incredible outdoor living spaces, etc. At the other end, simple but creative built-ins that transform a small space, practical storage solutions, etc. The other aspect is the attention Hawkeye pays to care and clean-up. A construction project is going to be disruptive, but they don’t have to be as bad as is typical. I had an interesting experience during a kitchen remodel (major work – knocking down walls and new layout, etc). A neighbor had a similar project underway with another builder. While I was set up with a temporary kitchen space (in my dining room), a still functioning kitchen sink in the middle of demolition, and modest mess confined to the construction areas and cleaned up daily, their home had many days that ended with every crevice and corner needing cleanup – their one-room project had made a whole house unliveable.”
