“Ian had been the main contractor for renovation of our kitchen and two bathrooms over the span of 8 years, and we had so much respect for his attention to detail and professional demeanor as well as that of his staff, that we decided to have Hurst Construction handle the renovation of our present deck and front porch. Because there were structural issues with the original deck which was built in 1984, and brickwork that was needed to install new windows/doors, the project took more time than anticipated. The present home-owners association required clearance for the plans from the architectural committee and this delayed the project as well. Overall, however, the new deck is beautiful, and structurally more sound, the windows are more earth friendly which saves energy, and the new deck and porch more closely connect to the building structure originally built. Ian's construction workers were courteous, approachable, and consistently efficient in their work. We would recommend Hurst Construction for any home renovation, and feel that the result of several months of hard work really paid off.”

“I hired Eric Gentry Home Remodeling for several major projects on my home in Historic Leawood, KS. In each case, his artistic vision created spaces that I loved living in. We totally remodeled my kitchen, added a front porch, completely reworked my downstairs bathroom, opened up a small stairway and added lighting to my deck, and built a beautiful room addition on the second floor that I used as a recording studio. Eric always went above and beyond to honor the historic integrity of my home. The inspired touches in each room that made my guests go..."Oh, my gosh...this is beautiful" were all his ideas. “We are currently in the process of a major addition/renovation with Manor Design. We could not be more pleased with John and his team. Our project is moving quickly and it seems to be his priority as they are on the job site most if not everyday. John and his team are very responsive, capable and the work they have done so far is impeccable. He is constantly coming up with money saving and creative options to achieve our desired look. We interviewed seven or eight contractors over several months, Manor Design Build was our very last interview. John’s professionalism and knowledge of his craft won us over and his dedication to getting our project done and done right will keep us using and referring him for years to come.”
