“I highly recommend Greater Portland Renovations. Originally, they did a rot repair job for us. Moisture got in under or front door and caused rot. They arrived to do the work on the scheduled day at the time promised. Even though the rot spread a bit further than expected, the cost remained within the estimated range. I was so impressed with the integrity of the company and kindness of the workers, that I also decided to hire them to install new hardwood floors in our home. As they were doing the job, they came across more rot under the back door, which we had no idea about. They took everything in stride. They repaired the issue right away, and charged us a reasonable amount to repair it. Our old floors were both glued and nailed down with a nail about every half inch of flooring. This was by means no easy job. They still managed to finish the job quickly, as they knew we were trying to sell our home. The floors were installed perfectly, and look amazing. “We hired James Gilroy House Wright, Inc. for an extensive renovation of our 150+ year old home in Marblehead, MA. We gut-renovated 2 floors of the 3-story house including an entire kitchen remodel, 2.5 new baths, new electrical, new plumbing, new floors, tearing down 2 staircases and building one new central staircase, replacing all windows and doors...I'm surely forgetting things, but needless to say it was a big job spanning about 6 months.
