“Ash and his team deliver nothing short of perfection with extreme attention to detail. Ash and his team installed a complicated ceiling beam wrap across the width of our house including two columns, replaced all of our baseboards with precision miter cuts, and installed some custom shelving under our stairs to increase our pantry space. They showed up on time, met schedule comments, stayed on-budget and delivered quality along ever step of the process. The work area was cleaned up at the end of each day. We highly recommend "Against The Grain Carpentry" and will use them again in the future. Alan & Nancy Richards”

“First let me say I grew up in a family of union carpenters, and can without a doubt Caleb with JCS Construction is a master of his trade. He doesn't cut corners and if your lucky enough to have him build for you all of the other tradesmen will thank you. I have seen a lot of junk built over the years a Caleb just won't do it he takes pride in his work and is super good at it. He framed and dried in a 3400 sq foot house for me in 7 weeks that I needed done by winter and did so the right way. True craftsmanship by a true Craftsman. I get compliments on Calebs work all of the time use him you won't regret it.”

Their attention to detail, timeliness and consistent communication led to the single best construction experience we've ever had. Jesse and Jason were all over the project. Their sense of design is spot on. They worked within the existing point-of-view of the design to ensure a seamless execution. And best of all, they did exactly what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. Finally, their customer service was off the charts all the way through the project. There was never a moment we didn't know what was happening from either a project, budget or billing standpoint. What we appreciated was how engaged George was from the design phase all the way to completion. His considerable experience helps in the development of plans that ensure a high quality home which is also cost effective. For example, he was instrumental in redoing the roof structure to reduce costs without changing the design.
