“I just hired Jacob to solve a problem that several other tile contractors could not fix. The shower in my guest bathroom wasn't draining properly due to the fact that the original shower floor was improperly installed (not enough slope, weep holes had been blocked, etc.). The other quotes I received from contractors were not only significantly higher than the one I got from Jacob, but required more time and additional investment ($!) in materials. Jacob did not merely replace the tile floor. He tested for leaks (even explored my crawlspace), fixed the drainage problem, did a beautiful job of installing the river rock tile (no seams whatsoever), and went the extra mile to diligently protect everything he touched. He has years of training and experience, takes great pride in his work, and is humble, reliable and trustworthy. Jacob is an independent licensed, fully bonded contractor and a true craftsman.”

“We are in the process of having a countertop makeover in our kitchen. My wife and I visited Quarzo to look at the many different choices of stone slabs at there site. We were greeted by Abril who showed us the styles of tile they had. She was friendly and knowledgeable and helped us to get an idea of what we were looking for. She sent us home with different samples to see how they matched with our cabinets and floor. I am proud to say we have purchased polished white granite for our kitchen. We are in the process of purchasing a cast iron sink, faucet and garbage disposal. We have not set a date yet for this kitchen install. We are excited to get our new makeover. We are pleased with the service so far. Will add to this review when job is completed.”

“I have used Tileshop product consistently on my projects for about 12 years. They are a great bread and butter line with a great selection of porcelain and ceramic tile lines & glass and deco lines. And there is enough diversity in their line to accommodate any style from contemporary to traditional. And all their lines have trim! So you can specify a whole project from one place! The showrooms are always neat and clean and easy to use and full of up to date vignettes and installations. Everything is labeled and priced. The prices are very fair for a high quality product. And everything is stocked! The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“Bay Area Stone & Tile retiled our master bath. What a huge difference between what we had and the way it looks now! We would have been grateful to have everything straight and level but Bay Area Stone and Tile exceeded our expectations. Manny worked most of our job and did a terrific job. George (one of the owners) had mentioned they could bullnose our stone so that we wouldn't have to use quarter rounds. Without that bullnosing, we would have had to use quarter rounds from a different manufacturer (which didn't match) or a metal (not a great fit with the transitional look of the bathroom). The bullnosing turned out wonderfully. George had also come up with the idea of creating a windowsill using the same tile. It too looks great—so much better than the wood we'd planned to use. We highly recommend this company!”

“Artistic Stone fabricated and installed the countertops in my remodeled kitchen, and they installed the glass mosaic tile backsplash. The countertops I chose were quartz in most of the kitchen, with granite on the bartop separating the kitchen from the family room. The whole experience with Artistic Stone was very positive, from working with the sales people, to the installation itself, and follow up. The sales person I worked with primarily, Sakiko, was very friendly, professional, and responsive. She really came through during the tile installation when I had to reschedule the date of the installation at the 11th hour, because I was having trouble choosing the grout color. Thankfully she and her team were very flexible and rescheduled without a problem. In the end I got the perfect color and the crew did an excellent job installing a difficult tile (due to the size variation of the tile pieces in the mosaic). More than a year after the installation, they came out recently to do a little touch up, including filling a small scratch in the quartz countertop. Now I can't even tell where the scratch had been. Altogether I was very happy that I hired Artistic Stone and I recommend them highly.”
