“I have a 1924 Tudor with a rather large fireplace that was in dire need of repair, including rebuilding the firebox, lining the flue, installing a spark arrestor, and laying new tile on the hearth. Because the house is in the process of being historically designated, I needed someone I could completely trust. Paul did an OUTSTANDING job. He worked fast and efficiently, and when we ran into challenges (like finding a spark arrestor that was period-appropriate), Paul came up with the perfect solution. The new hearth tile was handmade and costly so I was concerned about breakage, but not a single tile was damaged. The fireplace is beautiful and the hearth is stunning. In fact the biggest compliment is when people think the hearth is original. He took great care to protect the hardwood floors, furniture and walls, and the living room was cleaner when he left than when he arrived! Since it's repair, the fireplace has been a great source of joy, and I can't thank Paul enough. He has my highest recommendation.”
