“Our house came with a pre-installed linear gas fireplace with no surround. For two years, I tried to convince myself that it was modern and that I would get used to it, but I never did. All the while, I had Studio Design Works' Malibu fireplace photo pinned to my inspiration board. I finally took the plunge a few weeks ago and called for a consultation.... BEST DECISION EVER! Wayne, the owner, responded quickly and came to discuss color and sizing options. Within days, he sent a CAD rendering along with the proposal for a custom mantel, surround, and hearth. Three weeks after accepting the estimate, Arturo and another installer arrived. They were incredibly careful and detail oriented, protecting our floors with paper and drop cloths. The amount of time Arturo spent getting every surface straight and level was heroic. The outcome was absolute perfection. My only regret...not calling Wayne two years earlier!!”

In addition to providing a beautiful new fireplace/mantle and adjoining bookshelves, Oak-Land also fabricated beautiful new cutom kitchen cabinetry, new bathroom vanities, custom tile work, new hardwood flooring, etc. There is nothing they cannot do! I have heard several horror stories about other contractors, but Oak-Land was clean, timely, respectful, and understanding about what my wife and I wanted... and trust me, we can be picky and difficult at times.
