This project was new construction restrained by a dramatic site as the house sat at the edge of a bluff overlooking the lake. “The Katz Builders team is very professional. We have worked on dozens of projects together over a span of over 25 years (my firm draws the plans and Katz does the construction) and every one of my clients who has used Katz for the construction project has been very pleased with quality, professionalism and service. The level of personal attention and care they provide is unparalleled. In one remodel, for instance, they painstakingly removed the original wood casing from doors and reinstalled it after the remodel was finished. Their tile installer did my own floors and I was extremely impressed with how carefully he and his lead installer planned the layout to make sure that the tile was centered on several different axes as well as ensuring no small slivers of tile at edges and other subtle things I would never have noticed had they done it incorrectly. If something "doesn't seem right" about plans we have provided, the Katz team always call to make sure they get it right rather than "winging it" in the field risking misinterpretation of our intent. They have used many of the same sub-contractors the entire time I have known them which means to me that they have loyal sub-contractors and you will get consistent and high quality results from them. And, once again, I want to mention that in all these years I have not once had a homeowner come back to me and complain about them as their builder. That is very rare in this business.”

“Very good team, bathroom and kitchen renovations. Bathrooms were re-tiled and cabinetry replaced; kitchen was renovated, complete demo and rebuild. Installed stranded bamboo flooring, redid plumbing (toilets included). Recessed lighting installation. Workers are very clean and removed all trash daily during demolition; trustworthily crew; conscientious and reasonable. Workers are punctual, helpful and have a great attitude which makes the difference in every aspect of the job.”
