At the start of our project, owner, Tim Rigsby gave us a very detailed outline of projected costs and deadlines. While the project was in progress, we received weekly emails updating us on the work that would be completed along with the specific days and times workers would be at our home. Tim made regular visits to the job site to make sure the work was being completed accurately and on time. Everyone was professional and courteous. Our experience was very positive. “In October 2014 I hired Jason Jones of Preferred Builders of Watertown to add a 4 season room to my home. I had interviewed 4 possible contractors & chose Jason. He gave me a detailed description of how the addition would look, what it all entailed plus cost. The project consisted of taking out a picture window & make it the doorway for my new room 13.5 ft x 16.5 ft. I had a patio removed & a 4 foot crawl space added on to put this room on top of. Jason, & the men he worked with, were always professional & respectful to me & my family plus very personable. They wanted the job done right to my satisfaction. I was kept informed as to the timeline of the work which I appreciated. There was added cost to a couple of things I changed. After each work day, my place was cleaned up as much as possible. I had a smaller window removed & wasn't sure how I wanted that opening handled. Jason suggested glass shelves & it looks very nice. He gave me ideas for the heating of the area that would be most efficient & make the room comfortable in all seasons. I wanted a room with as many windows as possible & he gave it to me!!! The project was completed just before Christmas which worked out great for my family gathering. I thought it would be done sooner BUT that was my misunderstanding on the verbiage of the contract. Jason's crew, plus the people who dug out the old patio, the people who built the crawl space, electricians, the man who finished the wooden floor, the HVAC people all were very nice & caring. When I had questions, they were always answered with patience & completely. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Thank you for my wonderful room!”
