My house was built in 1903 and very little had been done in the following century. Stage 1 of the renovation was a complete strip out of the upper level, and new build downstairs to make a two level home.
Shane and his team offer a high level of personalised service, their attention to detail is first class, and the team and all contractors were always respectful, approachable and professional.
Coming from a design background, I wanted to be involved in the building process. I was always consulted regarding any changes which needed to be made and Shane always responded to any questions I had.
We have just completed Stage 2, which was a deck, garages and fences, and once again the process was seamless, with the same high quality finish.
Shane and the team are very well organised, with quality workmanship throughout and attention to detail.

“When I first contacted Tim Kowitz. He let me know a suitable time to come to give a quote.
During the first visit, he arrived on time.
During the session, he didn't just give an estimate, he also provided, the steps of the project. Who I needed to contact before any work was started.
I receive a quote, within reasonable time and an approx time he could start the project.
Tim has a lovely calm manner, when discussing the project.
Once I decided to go with Tim for the project.
My brother-inlaw and sister came up to go through the contract. The communication was professional between the parties. The contract was signed on the day. And I was given a starting date.
On the first day, Tim got straight into the project.
Communication between me and him was great.
He managed the work and workers (electrician, plumber, cabinetmakers, flooring, tiles etc) very proficiently. There was no nasty aggro swearing speech. Any issues, they were promptly dealt with.
As I learnt about renovations, there can be hold ups.
Tim work around all the holdups with materials etc.
When all work was finally completed.
My complete renovations were perfect.
I personally would recommend Tim Kowitz to do any building project.”

They had the difficult task of joining a 120 year old removal house on to my existing equally old house, and have not only risen to every challenge thrown at them - 100 year old church Leadlights in the dining room? Arched doors from an old convent? A reading nook with a fixed leadlight? And on it goes....and they even came up with ideas of their own that have value-added in a big way.
It's the attention to detail and justifiable pride in the quality of their work that has made all the difference in turning what could have been a nightmare renovation into something remarkably stress-free and truly spectacular. “I had already met with 6 builders when I first heard from Jason of Heritage Homesteads. disappointment after disappointment led us to start reviewing other options for our new home, as the builders we were speaking to just weren't on the same page as we were, and they didn't understand why we didn't want their stock standard offerings. When I talked to Jason it was like a breath of fresh air - finally! A builder who actually knows what we want, who wants to help us build the home we have been dreaming of - and within our budget!!
