“It was a few years ago when he did this work for us but overall it was good work and I would recommend him to others. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted or even if it was a good idea but he was able to show me it could be done and would work well, so we went ahead with the conversion of the cellar. There were a few changes that had to made as it was going along (some of them us changing our minds and some the designs needing tweaking, but as I said it was some years ago and he was a bit new to this) but he was very practical and inventive about it and it all got completed within the budget, which he had warned us would be a bit narrow, but as we were doing a lot of the work ourselves that helped. He was able to source us some lovely coving from Germany and found us some matching brass wall sconces so it all worked well together and is still one of our favorite rooms.”

They listened to what I wanted and encouraged me to choose furniture I would NEVER have picked on my own. I love it!!! “We found Chic on the Internet & were allocated Emma as our designer. We hit it off with her straight away & she quickly learnt how to work alongside us. She was very patient & professional & drew on our home & garden to come up with a design suitable for us. She had some good contacts & came up with some good prices for our lounge/staircase/landing project. We had a few blips, mainly with damaged goods arriving via on line buying. We found the ordering & returning of damaged goods the worst part of the whole project. In the main the workforce she employed were very good & although the whole project seemed to take a long time, we are highly satisfied with the end result.”

Pete used the 3D room design to show me how the reimagined space would work and how the colour scheme would look. I wasn’t sure about how the mirror would look in next to the window but Pete encouraged me to try this innovative method and explained why it would work.
