“Fern is simply great. She really listens to you, works within your budget, finds you solutions and partners. She's approachable and honest. And she'd do just about anything for a client. And in the event that something's not perfect, she makes it right. For example, she helped us get some custom cushions. The day they were delivered, she took the initiative to check in and make sure everything was perfect. A few of the cushions were sized a bit awkwardly (not her fault or doing), but I told her I'd be happy to live with them a bit. She insisted on coming over to check the cushions personally, took them back to the fabricator that day and got us new, perfect cushions in less that four days. Amazing. And honestly, it was a minor detail I'd never have even bothered about. That's what you want in a design partner. We'll be working with her again for sure!”

He wanted a space that was unusual and not cookie cutter. I finally convinced him to buy condo that had the right bones, but need the interior re-imagined. I helped him by a foreclosed condo and then he hired Allison to design space and coordinate the construction. My clients rehabbed timber loft is beautiful and he is thrilled. When I wanted an item that did not fit into my budget, she found a way to make it fit or explained to me why this would put the project over budget and found alternatives when necessary. She designed our rental condo unit in the city, which was a clean slate and our new offices for my market research company. I always felt comfortable expressing my opinion and she was always quick to change out an item if I expressed doubt about it. I believe using Meredith actually saved me money while still achieving my goals and meeting my deadlines. I can't wait to work with Meredith on my next project-a basement design.”

“Robert from Modlife has an incredible eye for finding stunning Mid-Century pieces. He also has the ability to pick furniture pieces and "recreate" them with updated fabric. I have purchased Mid-Century chairs from Modlife and also had him create ones that we could not locate in order to match the rest of our furniture. He is easy to work with and super creative!”
