“We had the absolute pleasure of Kate from Studio Heim’s assistance in the design and execution of a nursery for our first born.
Having a professional guide and support us through the rather daunting nesting process proved invaluable, and we were delighted to find the experience far more relaxed and straightforward than we could have ever expected. From just an initial conversation and a Pinterest board, Kate was able to extract the very essence of our needs and wants, and bring into reality something that not only matched them, but exceeded them.
Kate was always available to us and open to any queries we might have, and responded with ingenious and beautiful solutions.
For personal reasons, we were unfortunately away from home during the actual assembly of the nursery, but Kate and her team worked so carefully in our absence. Upon our return, we were overjoyed to discover she had created the perfect space for us and baby - a nursery beyond anything we could have imagined or hoped for.

“I approached Evolve initially as I had limited time and budget to give my spare bedroom a makeover in time for guests arriving. Evolve quickly assessed my needs and requirements, and provided me with a range of ideas to give me the look I was after. After I selected my favourite look, Kelly created a ‘shopping list’ for me to produce the end result. She also hand-picked a couple of fabrics which went perfectly with the scheme – she definitely has an eye for detail! It looks fantastic and I am so pleased with it. The whole process was very efficient, and without Evolve I would still be trailing the high street looking for ideas.”

“The reason I chose to use My Friend Sally was because initially I couldn't find any curtain fabric to go with my existing suite. The suite had seen little wear so I couldn't justify replacing it. In the end I asked Sally to do the whole room, curtains, lighting, paint, carpet, footstool and chair as I had inherited 1980s anaglypta and patterned carpet. Sally had lots of good ideas and worked to my budget. She offers a lot for her fee and she gave her time freely and nothing was too much trouble. We found some super curtain fabric that went perfectly with my suite and my room has been transformed, I could not have done it with out her or her trade accounts which are fantastic.”

I both admire respect and recommend interior solutions to anyone who expects nothing but the best. They have a nothing is to much trouble attitude and it shows in both their translation of a customers needs and their creativity in coming up with inivative suggestions to deliver amazing results. “We’re currently working with Mel to renovate our old house. I find decision making exhausting at times, and with 3 small children I rarely get time to myself to either go shopping for inspiration or get peace in the internet to research ideas.
She’s amazing. I vaguely tell her what we’re thinking and she comes back with options that were exactly the sort of thing we were hoping for but without doing the legwork ourselves!
Her taste is unquestionable and there are times she’s quite rightly told me why I should tailor my ideas more to hers, but she’s tactful enough to recognise when something is important to me and I don’t want to compromise on a style idea.
We’ve done a living room and 3 bedrooms with her help now, and are currently embracing an extension with a new kitchen, a dining room, hall and renovating 3 bathrooms.
I can’t rate her highly enough, and can only imagine the stress of trying to sort and choose all this myself. From selecting bathroom porcelain in our budget to advising colour schemes for walls, I’m so happy we have her to refer to and help us with decision making!
She’s utterly invaluable and I’d rather cut the budget for tangible things than lose her help, she’s worth every penny xx”
