She asked me several questions to receive a better understanding of what type of furniture that I liked and then provided me with several photos of excellent well-made furniture. Kelly's furniture and artwork prices are extremely reasonable. Her follow through was phenomenal from ordering the furniture, developing it, shipping and most important asking me if I was satisfied with the furniture. My house now looks fantastic because of Kelly. I look forward to working with Kelly again in the near future and I would suggest anyone to hire Kelly. Robin Kardy”

“We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”

Over a very long time we have used her services to include a whole kitchen redesign and each time she did a fantastic job. In addition, her follow through is outstanding. She goes out of her way to insure that her clients are always informed and provided with the best service. We were delighted with her design of our kitchen and every person who visits our home is overwhelmed with how beautiful the kitchen now looks and functions, Finally we recently needed repair on a drapery that she selected and had installed (years ago). “I loved working with Kelly and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an interior designer who brings creativity, but designs something that fits YOU. My husband, daughter and I had just moved from NYC to LA, so we hired Kelly to help us design a space that reflected our energy, experiences, personality and the SoCal vibe. I always dreamed of going lighter with color in a living space, but never had the guts. Kelly listened intently to what we had to say and then suggested risky and creative ideas based on our conversation, budget and key pieces of furniture we wanted to keep. As a result, Kelly turned our apartment into our home...that looks more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. People walk in and are stunned at how unique it looks in its vibrancy and style, while still reflecting who we are. Kelly told us in our initial meeting that we would love it, we would not know which room we liked the best, and we would never want to move out. Mission accomplished. We absolutely love it! Also, Kelly is an extremely warm-hearted, kind individual, and she made the process fun and easy (which was such a blessing as we were juggling a cross country move, a 1 year old and new jobs). She responded to emails promptly and effectively, and moved through our project with the pace at which we were comfortable. If we ever move again (which I don't want to now!!!) I will hire Kelly in a heartbeat. :)”

“I would rate higher if I could. Kelley's design is so beautiful. I hired her for three projects. Three years later I look at my living room and say I can't believe how beautiful this space is. She also designed an office for me where I have clients thanking me for having such a peaceful beautiful space to come to. Kelley's design is on a different level than most designers in the field. She truly gets how the space will make you feel and how to balance it. She also truly gets how to make the space reflect who you are. I am thrilled”

“Working with Michelle at Thomas Designs has been a wonderful experience. She has helped me with numerous projects and my guest bath remodel completed last year turned out great. From start to finish she drafted, designed, managed and completed my remodel in the agreed time frame which was very important to me because I had out of town guests coming to visit. Her sense of space and color was perfect and her attention to detail was much appreciated. Having never worked with a Interior Designer before I really didn't know what to expect but she listed to all of my likes dislikes and concerns making me feel comfortable with the process. I am working with her again to refresh and update my Family and Dining room decor and then it's on to remodeling the Kitchen. Needless to say I would highly recommend Michelle and Thomas Designs for all design, remodel and decorating needs.”
