“I used Wendy to help me pick out colors, tiles, etc. when I did a complete renovation of my condo 2 years ago. She was prompt, professional and we were both on the same page. She came to my house for the initial consultation. Then she came back with the samples and told me exactly the price and where to get everything. After everything was done, she drew out 3 different layouts so that I knew where to put my furniture, since that isn’t my specialty. She measured all of my furniture and mapped it out as well as gave me a couple suggestions to add a couple things. Then as one last thing, I hired Wendy to come help me hang my pictures. Some were by themselves and some were in clusters of up to 15 pictures. Everything came out beautiful. I highly recommend Wendy. She did a great job and i could never had done it by myself. “Laura designed the nursery for our baby boy and did a beautiful job. I'm the type of person who knows what I like and do not like, but I have no idea where to begin when it comes to coordinating pieces and putting a room together. I knew I wanted a room that he would be able to grow with and did not have an overwhelming theme, but I did not have a very clear vision. Laura helped me refine my ideas and she came up with a design that was everything I wanted and more. The physical space provided certain limitations, as it is a small room with white walls we cannot paint, a large window, and old hardwood floors. Also, we are located in Los Angeles, so this was a remote project for her. She was very thoughtful in choosing furniture that maximized the small space and still allowed us to have the traditional nursery furniture pieces. There is plenty of open room for toys, books, and floor space for playing. She chose simple pieces that balance nicely with the colorful elements of the room and incorporated items that provide a stimulating and sensory environment for my little one (a shaggy rug, colorful geometric mobile, bold striped curtains, large wall map decal, etc.) The nursery is my favorite room in our house, and it is so comforting to see the smile on my son's face when he is in his room; I have never seen a baby be so engaged with his space. Laura did not just design a room that looks nice, but is mostly for sleeping and diaper changes. She created an place where every element serves a purpose and provides a comforting and engaging environment for baby boy. She was very reliable, communicative, and easy to work with (even from a distance). I look forward to working with Laura again when we buy a house in the next few years.”

“Elizabeth Paul Design began design work on my home in mid-July 2022 with an evaluation of current furnishings followed by sending pics of various furniture. A visit to the furniture store followed about a week later. Elizabeth has displayed her enthusiasm to fulfill the project and has the capability to understand her clients needs, i.e knowing type of furniture someone may desire. Thus far, the modern contemporary style has been the goal. A fresh coat of paint and new furniture, carpet, artwork and light fixtures in the living room, kitchen and den. The project is on pace not to overwhelm financially with a few more rooms at a later date. In addition, Elizabeth has been designing the garden/landscape as the exterior my home has minimal flowers or other vegetation. She is very knowledgable on coordinating colors and style etc. to meet a flow pattern room to room or grouping of exterior flowers/shrubs. I look forward to continuing working with Elizabeth for as long as the project will take....photos will be provided or upon request.”
