One of the things I'm not particularly good at is making decisions, and she helped with that by not bringing too many choices into the equation when it was time to decide for specific materials. I appreciated this because it helped me hone in on my choice. Margaret was efficient at making the project move along, and set expectations on how long furniture deliveries would take. “I worked with Lori to design and furnish my family room and was so happy with the results, that I then asked her to help me update my kitchen. From the beginning, Lori understood the “old world” look and feel I was after. She incorporated a fresh, updated aesthetic with an emphasis on functionality and comfort to give us a family room that far exceeded my expectations. Now we really live in this room everyday and love it. The kitchen required a different approach as we were on a tight budget. It was very outdated, but we were not ready to invest in a total remodel. Lori suggested painting the cabinets, adding a frosted glass backsplash, painting the walls, and changing out our existing breakfast room table to one that, while also having the “old world” feel, was updated with a gorgeous two-toned finish. Her choices featured finishes that were perfect for our active family, giving me the hardy, low-maintenance surfaces I needed. Once again, she “nailed it” and we love our “new” kitchen. It was such a delight to work with Lori. She was very responsive to my ideas, creatively incorporated them into the project, and has a knack for solving tricky problems. Her eye for color is outstanding and she taught me a thing or two about scale! She can work within the budget and deliver a beautiful room and…we are thrilled!”
