“We are currently working on two bathroom renovations Tami designed for us. This is the second time we get to work with her. Previously she designed custom draperies and helped us give our family room an update. Her draperies are gorgeous! Tami is very good at seeing your vision and pulling it together professionally and within budget. She provides a complete visual presentation and notebook to follow for purchasing, contacts, etc with an itemized breakdown of the budget to follow. She makes it very easy for someone like me who kind of knows what she wants but gets overwhelmed trying to make too many decisions. She delivered her designs within the time frame she gave us and her contractor referrals are very good. Tami also has great follow through with the projects. We have also found that her designer discounts from local vendors help cover her reasonable design fees so it is a win win.”

They will handle everything from the idea phase, to hiring the proper General Contractor, subs, over seeing the entire process and being present at the job site during the work. They did everything from A to Z. They made redecorating my home a simple breeze. From providing me my options and giving me the pros and cons of each option with various cost estimates made it easy for me to make a comfortable informed decision on every step of the process. They are extremely flexible with their service. Their contractors are also professional and very neat. They clean up after every job and make the process very convenient. “I hired Neela to turn my small dark family room into a room my family wanted to use. Now it's the most used room in the house- after the kitchen, of course! Neela helped transform the room into the perfect family room for MY family. She listened to what I wanted, used family-friendly fabrics as I requested, and placed artistic touches throughout. Now it's a useable space- not just a beautiful space I don't want to touch as many "designed" rooms can be. My husband, son and I love the room. Now we're working in my dining room. “I have been working with Jennifer from The Old Painted Cottage since 2011. I had been a faithful blog reader (http://theoldpaintedcottage.com/) and admirer of her style for a long time before getting the courage to contact her to see if she would agree to a design consultation to help me revamp my living room. My husband and I had recently moved into a 1960's ranch - that still looked like it was from the 1960s! I was so frustrated with trying to "design" my house on a budget and getting nowhere – I desperately wanted and needed help. I kind of knew what I wanted to do and the styles I admired, but I had no idea whatsoever how to create it on a realistic budget in my own home. I hired Jennifer to teach me how to beautify my living room. And oh boy - I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful it was (and has been since then) to work with Jennifer! After sending her the dimensions of my living area and images of living rooms I loved (many of them here on Houzz), we scheduled and had a phone consultation and OH.MY.GOSH! Jennifer's energy, excitement, ability to translate what I wanted to the redesign of my space - and all within my budget - was incredible! One of the most amazing things about Jennifer is that she patiently taught me many interior design secrets that I never knew but have since been able to apply to my whole home (e.g., hanging drapes higher than the top of the window, displaying décor items in threes, adding pops of complementary color, etc.) Needless to say, it is 2014 and Jennifer has let me hire her to design almost every room in my house! Since 2011, I’ve had two babies and she helped me design both nurseries. Jennifer also helped me revamp my master bedroom, TV room, and the sunroom! Currently, we are doing a whole house consult on a little lake cabin my husband and I recently purchased. Overall, Jennifer is a consummate professional, her fees are ridiculously reasonable, and she is able to “get into a space” and transform it simply by looking at before photos. Jennifer is a gem! I could go on and on about Jennifer…(and I hope to meet her in person one day soon!)”

“Hiring Jessica and Jonathan was probably one of the best decisions I ever made for my restaurant. They spent a lot of time patiently listening to the mood we were trying to convey, went out and did a ton of research, and then came back and completely nailed the project. We have consistently been featured in design blogs and Instagrams because of the unique styling of the restaurant. They even surprised me and found classic photos of the person the restaurant was named after, which I had been sure no longer even existed anywhere. Extremely highly recommended and would hire again for any future projects.”

“Gail worked with us on choosing colors for the exterior of an 1887 Victorian cottage belonging to the San Gabriel Historical Association. We showed her a picture from a magazine of a color scheme we liked. In addition to choosing an appropriate color scheme, it was our hope to enhance the various architectural elements present on the front facade of the cottage, which were previously all one color. Gail made several visits to the site and various test colors were applied. She is a great listener and wanted to know about our vision. She values the client's input. She explains how colors work together and about the element of undertones. Gail knows color! Three of the four colors she suggested were an immediate hit with us, especially the accent colors--colors we would never have considered. Our greatest challenge was finding just the right off-white shade for the trim. Gail is a perfectionist, patient and persistent. At last, she found the right one--we could all see it. It has been magical to see the painting of the house unfold. We are working with four colors and Gail did the color layout, as well. Again, we had no clue how to do that, but Gail did! Gail is an artist and it is a pleasure to see the artist's eye at work. The painters keep remarking on what a great color scheme we have. People drive by and stop to photograph the house, even other painters on their way to work! They always want to know the names of the colors. It has been a pleasure to work with Gail. She is a darling--a class act! We are grateful she was sent our way!”
