“Jen of JKate Designs recently decorated our income property in Ortley Beach, NJ. She selected paint colors, furniture, accessories and created layouts. She was easy to work with and talk to about likes and dislikes. She worked within our budget and the entire process was smooth. This house was an interesting challenge, as she had to work around some existing decor/furniture, that maybe we both would not normally have selected on our own, but it came with the house and we did not want to get rid of it all. She selected items/colors so that together, the "old" and new have created a beautiful, timeless look.The outcome is stunning and we could not be happier! The property has been listed for rent for about 2 weeks and we already have 5 summer weeks rented. we are convinced it's the decor and could not have done it without her. We are looking forward to our next project together.”

“Charlene is an absolute dream to work with. After moving into a 2 BR condo in New York, I needed someone who could highlight the best qualities of the space and create a vibe that was both chic and cozy at the same time. I had a few ideas stylistically about what I wanted, but Charlene crystallized the vision and brought it to life in a way that I never could have envisioned. The priorities for the project were the kitchen, living room, and the main bedroom. At our first design consultation, we discussed fabrics, finishes, and color palette, taking into consideration not just how the pieces and textures would look together but also how each room would feel when you walked into it. What I appreciated most about the process is Charlene's ability to merge her eye for design with creating a space that was totally personal and also functional. I had a few vintage pieces with sentimental value that I wanted to incorporate, and we found a way to feature them among the more modern design elements. It was also important to me to include some items that were locally-sourced, and Charlene was able to find some really special ceramic pieces and lighting through her relationships with artisans in the Brooklyn area. She even found a local female-owned and operated painting company to do the limewash in the bedroom. How cool is that?? I am so thankful to have worked with Charlene on this project. She made the entire process seamless and fun, and no detail went unconsidered. The final space is beautiful and leaves me feeling relaxed and reenergized every time I walk in the door. I could not have asked for a better partner on this project.”

“Betty is one of the most talented, and creative professionals I've ever worked with. I hired Betty to design my Watermill home over 10 years ago. While Betty excels in all aspects of design - style, textures, scale, I found that more than any other designer I have seen, Betty shines when it comes to color. She can put together room after room where colors seem to effortlessly compliment one another. I am a type A person, and Betty was my match. While creative talents are essential in a designer, the best ones have what Betty has - a real business acumen. Betty was uber organized, methodical and every decision we made, had to make sense. I received my invoices with all pertinent information attached for future reordering and/or reference to paint colors, fabric brands, etc.. I interviewed many designers before we hired Betty, and I would say "look no further" Betty has and does it all. On a separate note, I've seen her play tennis, and you'd also be happy to have her couple as your doubles partner as well! Betty was a joy to work with. We had a lot of fun working together and I was beyond satisfied with the project.”

She was part of the project from start to finish over 6 months and worked directly with the Contractors on all the major design and structural decisions. Eve is professional in all she does and leaves no stone unturned. She customized our outdated basement to a completely finished one that now resembles a 2nd family room. Our basement was fit for our family’s specific needs and now it functions exactly the way we had envisioned. She is detail oriented, easy to work with, able to stick to our budget and added a creative touch beyond what we could have done ourselves!”
