I really can't recommend her highly enough, she is an extremely skilled and careful seamstress, and a lovely person to deal with.”

Firstly, we required advice on a set of dining chairs that were tired and in need of a make-over and from the intitial choice of material to the finished task of re-covering them it was a wonderfully professional experience, one we would highly recommend.

“Not only did Spiffy Spools produce a beautiful roman shade for me, but they provided excellent customer service. I had originally order my shade with a ribbon border, this is a significant up charge. Their designers didn't think the color and pattern layout matched with the ribbon. They carefully laid it all out and emailed me photos so I could make an informed decision. I choose to leave it off. They fully credited me for the border. The shade is significantly better without it and I am so glad they spoke up. Upon install they quickly responded to my emails with questions and were always friendly! I will definitely be ordering from them in the future.”

“Daniel from London Interior Shutters visited my property on a design consultation in January. He was professional and communicated my options well and advised what shall best suit my decor. He had a tablet with lots of previous work so I could visualise what he proposed. He also kindly left samples with me so I could later discuss with my partner. Shutters were installed within 6 weeks and look gorgeous.

“I recently moved house, to a new area I am not familiar with, and wanted some help with window furnishings. Closs & Hamblin contacted by phone initially and asked me about my project, they arranged for a lady to come out to measure, and bring a variety of fabric samples. Julie was really helpful, and spent time listening to my ideas, then measured the windows, and advised on both poles and curtain headings. She then helped me choose the right fabric to go with my sofa, and talked through how the order would be made and fitted. I was then sent a quote, which I accepted. The curtains were hand made and delivered by a fitter, who installed the poles, and hung the curtains - again a seamless process.
I cannot recommend this company highly enough, they were really friendly, listened to my requirements, kept me informed all the way through my order and delivered everything on time.”
