“We bought a total dump of a terrace which had serious structural and aesthetic issues. We hired Palaestra to help us reconfigure the building to make the most of the spaces, increase the light while keeping the cost low. Palaestra solved the puzzle of using the space as well as possible. We have a truly brilliant new stair configuration. They designed really great rooms and had real sensitivity to our rather serious budget constraints. Unlike a number of the people we hired on the job, Palaestra really got that we couldn't afford the best or most beautiful finishes but always come up with a good looking alternative. Palaestra always deliveredon time and responded to crises.”

“In two words...Absolutely Brilliant! Luke's architectural abilities and holistic approach combine sustainable, practical concepts that look AMAZING. He is highly organised, trendy, ensures he fully comprehends the client's brief and produces designs that have an edge...a real Wow factor. We had a sloping block of land with a long list of requirements (budget, time, eco friendly, low maintenance, compliance to Vastu i.e an ancient Indian construction science considered by many as the precursor to Feng Shui, and many more). We also had some covenants and restrictions on the land. Luke delivered on all fronts by striking a beautiful balance of all elements. He also had a great network of consultants required for the plethora of reports needed for the Council Development Application and a huge help to get these organised. The best decision we've made. You can't go wrong with LVJ.”

“Tracy from Connected Design did a brilliant job of designing the renovation of our 100 year old semi-detached house in Sydney's Inner West. She really listened to what we wanted in our house, matched our eco prinicples in an extremely knowledgeable way, dealt calmly with hiccups along the way (our challenging neighbours and strict council accoustic standards) and expertly guided us through the planning process. Best of all she has designed us an extremely liveable space that is within our budget. I can't wait to see her plans become reality next month when we start building.”

“Tracey was the architect for our house in neutral bay. He did the design through to council submission and supported us through builder selection . He then provided weekly advice, supporting me in communications with the builder through to project completion . I was a novice renovator and Tracy guided me in a gentle and kind manner every step. He has a amicable personality which makes it easy to work with him. His designs were considered for family living and respectful of budget yet his designs did not compromise on style. Lastly , as a local to my area, Tracey was able to visit on weekends or evenings at a time that suited me, which made he process very easy as a busy working family. I highly recommmend Tracey, and would be happy to provide a reference if needed for further details.”
