“We hired Traci Kelley to draw up our house plans after considering doing it ourselves, realizing that we had gotten in over our heads. We are so glad that we went with her. I was very happy with her from the first meeting. She listened to what we wanted and gave her own input that ended up being far better than what I had imagined and thought of things that I had not considered. Her expertise was greatly appreciated. I got absolutely everything I wanted and more without any costly back and forth, we did some minor changes to the very first draft and that was it. The finished plans are amazing, we can't wait to see our house built.”

“I own a home in East Austin and worked with Marcus to build a 900 square foot ADU and office / studio space on the back half of my lot. Overall it was a great experience and the end result is more design driven and high quality than I expected when I had the idea to build. Working with Marcus was a very collaborative process. He did a great job of listening to me and my goals for the project and proposing design ideas that I would have never envisioned on my own. That said, I also felt I had a hand in the design process and Marcus was great rethinking design elements that I felt didn't suit my needs or aesthetics. The result is a structure that has unique elements that reflect a creative process that I felt I had an active part in. The end result is an environment with features that I remember being born more as stories than drawings on paper. The project came in close to budget and I feel I got a more than I expected for the money I spent on the project. With a tight labor market and competition for resources in Austin, Marcus did a good job of navigating the challenges of the build process, whether that involved interactions with permitting and inspections or finding the right sub-contractors for a job that involved a lot of custom fabrication. Marcus and I were friends before the project, and still are, and that says a lot about the success of a build project that can experience the unexpected. The photos in this review are the project near completion in 2017 and recently in 2021.”

“We had a very vague idea of how we wanted to expand our 3/1 home. We knew we wanted a master suit and we knew we wanted more living space, but that was about it. Jess looked at our existing layout, lead us through thoughtful conversations about likes and dislikes, and came up with an amazing design that went above and beyond our original request. Jess went through multiple design options with us, listened to our feedback, made quick adjustments, and was always available via phone or email. She was responsive and friendly throughout the entire process. She brought unique ideas and made recommendations that I now can't imagine living without - we never would have thought to flip the garage laundry space into a finished laundry room, but it's so perfect! It's also worth noting that all of her great ideas were made with our budget in mind! We never felt like we were deciding between a good idea and a realistic one. She really made the extension feel like a part of the original house. The house still feels like it belongs on our lot and in our neighborhood even though we went from 955 sq ft to almost 1,400. Everyone who comes over can't believe it wasn't originally built this way!”
