“I was moving house and although upsizing had limited loft space. The opposite of what I had in the house I was moving out of. I have always been a hoarder and had kept literally everything from theatre programmes to bus tickets, Birthday cards and letters to school books, cuddly toys to clothes.
I needed to declutter and fast and I didn’t know where to start as it was like my whole life was in these of boxes and truth be told I did not want to have to throw any of it out.
Maria was amazing. What was a huge mountain to climb for me she made seem so easy. It was an extremely emotional process for me but Maria made me realise I didn’t need boxes and boxes of stuff. I have kept the very special items but now have one memory box, rather than 100! I am forever grateful as since moving I have realised all those boxes would have been a total burden and what is the point in moving into a lovely new home and taking all your junk with you only to hide it away?”

“I booked Marianne to organise my newborn daughter’s nursery. Having only recently welcomed my daughter into the world I was feeling overwhelmed with not just the amount of stuff we had bought her but also with how many gifts she had received. I wanted my new daughters room to be perfect and organised but knew that I would struggle to achieve this whilst looking after a newborn.
At the initial consultation Marianne had so many great ideas and took note of everything I said I wanted for the room. She helped me find storage solutions and even some small furniture items within my budget. She also ordered and put the storage items together for me.
I am so pleased with the end result, the room looks beautiful, everything has its own place and it’s easy to locate items. Marianne also made sure that I have space for new items which has made it really easy to keep the room organised. I love what she has done with some old craft items that I had stored away, organising them into a lovely box so that my daughter can use them when she grows up.

Oils and vinegar on one shelf, spices (alphabetised, of course) and cooking stuff on another; all things baking on a third. The second closet was kitchen equipment, also beautifully organised, with PLENTY OF SPACE LEFT OVER! Kitchen cabinets reworked as well. I was convinced that they must have thrown out half my stuff in order to make everything fit so nicely, but in fact, there is nothing missing at all. They will change your life and make your home way better.”

“I enlisted Chloë’s help because I had loads of stuff that I didn’t really need but I was struggling to make the decision to get rid of anything – I always find reasons not to. I like things to be clean and organised, but my house was starting to look pretty untidy, especially my home office.
Chloë was brilliant at focussing my attention on the task at hand and keeping the momentum going throughout our sessions. She helped me to objectively evaluate each item and let go of those that I just didn’t need. She also advised on storage solutions for my office and worked with me to organise the room once all the clutter was gone.

“As a fashion stylist, mum and lover of things, my house
is ever growing with stuff! My ongoing challenge of decluttering
suddenly became so overwhelming that I realised I needed
an objective person to come to my rescue and give it a final push.
I knew full well what to do but am just too attached to
all my things.
I was lucky enough to find Katherine in my search to book someone
immediately and she was definitely the right person for me.
Firstly I immediately liked her energy and personality on the phone and
during our initial useful skype consult. So I knew we would get on.
Decluttering is very personal and would not work as well
with someone who did not understand you and your space.
She came for a 4 hour blitz session and boy does time fly.
So we concentrated on the main areas and then discussed
ideas for the others. I cleared out 20 bags for Oxfam and
she came with me in the car to do drop off which - is very handy part
of her service.
She is full of energy and sympathy for the task at hand
and although we both worked hard I felt a sense of achievement
at the end of our session. You are then inspired to keep the
process going where possible. And am sure I would love to have
her again to tackle my small overspilling kitchen for another much
needed blitz.
We accumulate so many things over the years that a decluttering session
is a much needed service to breathe you new life
into your space.”

“I have hired ClutterBug to help me declutter a house with 2 young kids that suffered from too much unused appliances, clothes, games, books and whatnot.
The approach was extremely professional and friendly. I was surprised and how quickly she managed to help me sort out the clutter and helped me obtain a "clutter free" mind.
After a few sessions (as 1 was definitely not enough!) the house looked amazing, the kids' rooms had space to play in, I donated few bags to charity, few to the big and I even managed to get some money back by selling old stuff on ebay!
