“Homefulness came with smiles and enthusiasm. I left in the morning with instructions to "do your best" and came back to an astonishing sight. Two closets, organised beautifully. Oils and vinegar on one shelf, spices (alphabetised, of course) and cooking stuff on another; all things baking on a third. The second closet was kitchen equipment, also beautifully organised, with PLENTY OF SPACE LEFT OVER! Kitchen cabinets reworked as well. I was convinced that they must have thrown out half my stuff in order to make everything fit so nicely, but in fact, there is nothing missing at all. They will change your life and make your home way better.”

“I was moving house and although upsizing had limited loft space. The opposite of what I had in the house I was moving out of. I have always been a hoarder and had kept literally everything from theatre programmes to bus tickets, Birthday cards and letters to school books, cuddly toys to clothes.
I needed to declutter and fast and I didn’t know where to start as it was like my whole life was in these of boxes and truth be told I did not want to have to throw any of it out.
Maria was amazing. What was a huge mountain to climb for me she made seem so easy. It was an extremely emotional process for me but Maria made me realise I didn’t need boxes and boxes of stuff. “This was my first time using this service, I had a lovely lady Pauline who kindly helped me clear my clutter from my tiny sitting room, and helped me sort out my kitchen counters and cupboard under sink (I have way too many cloths/tea towels) during our 3 hour session. I have arthritis so it was great having an extra pair of hands. Pauline was friendly, chatty and non judgemental, I have collected a lot of stuff over the years and I do try to regularly clear clothes and other items, this has given me a kick up the derrière, I found it so nice to relax in my sitting room after all the clutter was gone. I can’t afford to pay for this service on a regular basis, but I thought I really needed the help to get me started on my decluttering mission and I’m so glad I did. I will definitely ask Pauline back in a couple of weeks/months time if I have the money. In the meantime I will try my best to donate items every time I buy something new and try to only have what I need and use. Thanks Pauline, I’m starting to love my home again x my daughter was definitely impressed and had a big smile on her face when she came home from college.”

She also spruced up some of my tired old furniture, including a mirror I was about to take to the dump which she sprayed gold (and which I now love), and I can honestly say I feel like I've moved house! “As a fashion stylist, mum and lover of things, my house
is ever growing with stuff! My ongoing challenge of decluttering
suddenly became so overwhelming that I realised I needed
an objective person to come to my rescue and give it a final push.
I knew full well what to do but am just too attached to
all my things.
I was lucky enough to find Katherine in my search to book someone
immediately and she was definitely the right person for me.
Firstly I immediately liked her energy and personality on the phone and
during our initial useful skype consult. So I knew we would get on.
Decluttering is very personal and would not work as well
with someone who did not understand you and your space.
She came for a 4 hour blitz session and boy does time fly.
So we concentrated on the main areas and then discussed
ideas for the others. I cleared out 20 bags for Oxfam and
she came with me in the car to do drop off which - is very handy part
of her service.
She is full of energy and sympathy for the task at hand
and although we both worked hard I felt a sense of achievement
at the end of our session. You are then inspired to keep the
process going where possible. And am sure I would love to have
her again to tackle my small overspilling kitchen for another much
needed blitz.
We accumulate so many things over the years that a decluttering session
is a much needed service to breathe you new life
into your space.”
