Anecdote #2: A few years ago, we had Mike renovate our basement utility room. During that renovation, he realized the upstairs subfloor wasn't properly supported, and came to us with a plan to cheaply address that problem, explaining why it was important. Mike has a keen eye for substandard work, and a determination to make sure it is corrected. Mike does things the right way, but not just one way. Many, many times we had requests that weren't straightforward, and Mike would figure out a way to make them work.
