“Connor managed the team who constructed one of my Japanese garden designs near Ringwood, Dorset. Once we had agreed the hard landscaping materials he clearly laid out his plan for the construction and throughout the project kept me informed of any changes to the plan. He carefully went through my design with me at key points and this resulted in an accurate representation of my design. Whenever there were queries or unexpected issues he checked with me before instructing his team on how to proceed. He developed a good working relationship with both me and the client and was easily contactable to discuss progress and arrange onsite visits to check on the construction. The client was extremely pleased with the finished garden and I look forward to working with him in the future.”

Carefully chosen flowers bloom in sequences throughout the seasons, while a set of small trees brighten up the worst winter days. They tastefully redesigned the area, providing expert advice not just on plants but on material, lay out, outdoor furniture, extra features like outdoor fireplace, barbecue. Work was carried out meticulously and professionally, and we appreciated their guidance with our new outdoor space well before the project was completed.”

“About 3/4 of an acre of mature garden had become fairly overgrown over the years (with the exception of the lawn areas). SHG were appointed to tackle the entire make-over, which involved removing large mature bushes, renovating vegetable/fruit gardens, replanting substantial boarders and clearing years of ivy from walls. The work is now well underway, with all heavy activity undertaken in a professional and reliable manner. The resulting debris was effectively removed and planning was so well organised that much enjoyment was gained from the spectacular effects even during the very first summer. We now have a clear, easily understood plan for further improvements during the autumn/winter period, together with an impressively researched list of suggested additional plantings to consider for next spring. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending SHG to anyone requiring a competitive, trustworthy and reliable company to manage any size of garden year round.”
