“Sound Hardwood flooring has installed the floors in two different houses I have owned in Port Townsend. The Owner Michael Morrow is very knowledgeable about all types of wood flooring and including bamboo flooring. I can't say enough about how he took me through the whole process of having wood floors from start to finish and yes flooring finish as well which becomes a big part of the floor. I learned so much about flooring that I will use in the future and have advised my family about flooring. If you want knowledgeable persons helping you through the process with over 30 years of experience I recommend you call Michael at Sound Hardwood Flooring. “Adam and his wife, Yolanda (I hope I have her name correct!), refinished and wove in new oak floors for the upstairs remodel of our home. They also laid new floors on the stairs to the downstairs living area. They did an awesome job all around. Adam told us that his system is "dust free" and he was correct. He also told us that we wouldn't need to move out of the house for a period of time due to toxic odors from the finishing products. Again, he was correct. Adam gave us an estimate of how long the project would take and he was done a day early! They even waited a month or two to do the final buffing and finishing so that we could get our cabinets in. Adam is both and artist and a perfectionist and, if I ever have a need for wood flooring work in the future, I would not hesitate to call him. We are very happy with our floors!”

“I've used Hardwood Perfections twice, once to refinish 1500sf, and replace stairs with hardwood, and another time to install hardwood in our 400sf kitchen. Both times, they paid meticulous attention to detail, and did a very good job. Areas where new hardwood is joined to old is impossible to see. Couldn't ask for anything more!”

“He does quality work and is trustworthy. First time I used his service was on a vinyl kitchen/dinning room floor. We gave him a key to the house while we were on vacation, he did all the install, removed all debris, and placed the furniture back where it was before he started. Whe we arrived we had a new floor! The bill was on the counter and the price was less then he quoted. Later he did a A+ job on thre tile setting for our new 3/4 bath. When he is slow and or between contract jobs, he is willing to work on a time and material basis at a reasonable hourly rate.”
