“I highly recommend Pat Bernard Design, Inc. In the summer of 2009, I hired Pat Bernard Design to transform an underused front patio into a relaxing garden and entertaining space. The results where outstanding. For reference, the front patio is below ground level as part of my garden unit condo. Originally the patio was just a brick floor with some common shrubs around the edges - very drab and uninspiring. Pat Bernard’s re-design incorporated a stone seating wall that enclosed and bordered raised flower, plant and tree beds, thus providing the perfect combination of entertainment seating and low maintenance shade plants/flowers and trees without using too much square footage. The Japanese maple trees that Pat chose and planted are the patio garden's pride and joy! Pat also installed low-voltage lighting which really highlights the trees, plants and flowers during the evening while also providing a sense of calm and relaxation.
