“We have used Revolution Landscape for 3 projects over the last 5 years (a steep hillside; removal of grass and installation of a pond and raised garden beds and shaded deck/arbor in back yard; and turf removal/water-wise redesign of front yard). “John and Colorworks Landscape were referred to us by a online review. Upon digging around for low water use landscaping and design I found Xeristyle, they were terribly unresponsive and Colorworks popped up. After looking through the picture on Colorworks website I decided they were worthy of inviting out for a bid. Within a few hours of talking to him, John already knew exactly what we wanted. John is extremely knowledgeable on all landscaping concepts and knows precisely what works and what doesn’t. His crew is very meticulous, courteous and neat. They also worked around a finished driveway paver system while fixing an existing sprinkler system which had some issues. It was a good sized project and John made sure that each area of a project was being worked on simultaneously and in harmony. Additionally, everyone cleaned up at the end of each day. The finished product looks amazing and everyone stayed late the last day just to make sure everything was perfect. Finally, he was every fair in terms of pricing and ended up doing many items on the house. We could not be happier with the outcome and highly recommend him for any outside landscape or hardscape project.”

“In September 2015, we hired Ecology Artisans, which included Tigre Pickett, Chris Marciello and team, to create a more ecological and sightly landscape. [Our home was built by a known architect in the 1940’s, Pre-Mid-Century Modern and it was important that our landscape played off of the off the modern architectural lines and style while incorporating a natural look. “Robinson Environmental Design did an outstanding job transforming my backyard into a garden. The space was very challenging given the various levels of the hillside. After several design iterations, we settled on a design that met most, if not all, of my family's needs. Although the timeline took a little longer than expected, it was worth the wait as the final product is quite a transformation. The best dimension of the new garden is the use of color and flora. Who knew such subtleties could create amazing layers and textures. Walking into the space is like walking into a different space -- like a tropical oasis. In terms of the work contracted for my tri-level garden is plan several speciies of plants in the upper two levels, build a redwood arbor at ground level surrounded by marathon soil and a lush gardenscape. The plants are in raised plant boxes and at ground level using plants of various dimensions. Irrigation was installed to keep the plants happy and healthy. Overall, I would recommend RED for your garden as the product was transformative.”

“We have been working with Davis Landscape for almost a year to completely remodel over 1/3 of an acre including a large pool, separate spa, several new decks, stairways, ramps, and a 20 ft. X 22 ft. pavilion with fireplace, TV, and bar. Their competence, knowledge, experience, positive attitude and flexibility have been outstanding throughout our relationship. Their crew is also outstanding and patient with changes and questions. She listened to us when we described what we wanted and was flexible in changing the design to accommodate changes required by our homeowners association and our anticipated use of the property. She picked plants that provide us with a wide variety of color and texture and with different blooming seasons, so that our gardens will be always colorful and changing. She and her team also worked very efficiently, and she coordinated very well with the contractor who we hired to pull up our lawns and cut up parts of our concrete patio in accordance with Pia's designs.”
