“We wanted a change to our rather pedestrian front lawn. We were recommended to Urban Oasis by a satisfied friend. Essentially, we wanted a grassless front lawn with herbs - drought resistant plants - rocks and gravel artistically placed with some color highlights and an overall feeling of serenity. We reviewed some lawns that we liked and Urban Oasis came up with a unique design that met our needs but was cost effective. Debbie G. submitted drawings and estimates. Her crews were superb. She worked right along with the gardeners and supervised the tree trimmers, etc., Project came in under estimate..”

“Beth provided a wonderful landscape design and creation program for our home. Taking our tastes, budget and timing into account, she came up with designs that were creative and realistic. She oversaw the job from beginning to end and was always available to answer questions or to help make last minute changes without a problem. Everything that was supposed to be done was completed as imagined and on schedule. Beth was not only exceptionally professional and ethical, but very enjoyable to work with. We were very, very pleased with the process and the results. I would recommend her services to anyone.”

“John and Colorworks Landscape were referred to us by a online review. Upon digging around for low water use landscaping and design I found Xeristyle, they were terribly unresponsive and Colorworks popped up. After looking through the picture on Colorworks website I decided they were worthy of inviting out for a bid. Within a few hours of talking to him, John already knew exactly what we wanted. John is extremely knowledgeable on all landscaping concepts and knows precisely what works and what doesn’t. His crew is very meticulous, courteous and neat. They also worked around a finished driveway paver system while fixing an existing sprinkler system which had some issues. It was a good sized project and John made sure that each area of a project was being worked on simultaneously and in harmony. Additionally, everyone cleaned up at the end of each day. The finished product looks amazing and everyone stayed late the last day just to make sure everything was perfect. Finally, he was every fair in terms of pricing and ended up doing many items on the house. We could not be happier with the outcome and highly recommend him for any outside landscape or hardscape project.”

“We are extremely pleased with the entire process of working with Sacred Space Garden Design. Karen created a design that captured exactly what we wanted in our front and back yard landscaping project. Omar executed on the plan and added in so many thoughtful details that were not anticipated in the beginning but were the extra little things that turned a project from good to great. Omar and Karen's employees were always courteous and treated us with a high level of respect even stopping what they were doing when our young children had to walk by just to make sure they stayed safe. In certain situations, my wife and I added additional ideas and Karen and Omar were always receptive to our ideas and worked them into the final product. Karen and Omar are so customer focused and professional to work with it made the whole process something we look back on with a smile. We actually miss the crew being around the house now that the work is done (so we have hired them on to be our full time gardeners!).”

“We have been working with Davis Landscape for almost a year to completely remodel over 1/3 of an acre including a large pool, separate spa, several new decks, stairways, ramps, and a 20 ft. X 22 ft. pavilion with fireplace, TV, and bar. Their competence, knowledge, experience, positive attitude and flexibility have been outstanding throughout our relationship. Their crew is also outstanding and patient with changes and questions. Because this is an extensive and complicated remodel, we had to rely on their professionalism and knowledge of things about which we knew very little. They have been fair in all aspects and always advised us ahead of time about any changes or additions to our planned budget and the reasons for these additions or changes. We have been very pleased with all aspects of their work and their advice and counsel. We are nearing the final stages of the project and feel confident it will turn out to be even nicer than we had hoped. We wholeheartedly recommend Davis Landscape! We have truly enjoyed working with Dave and Vicki Meece and their entire crew.”

“Robinson Environmental Design did an outstanding job transforming my backyard into a garden. The space was very challenging given the various levels of the hillside. After several design iterations, we settled on a design that met most, if not all, of my family's needs. Although the timeline took a little longer than expected, it was worth the wait as the final product is quite a transformation. The best dimension of the new garden is the use of color and flora. Who knew such subtleties could create amazing layers and textures. Walking into the space is like walking into a different space -- like a tropical oasis. In terms of the work contracted for my tri-level garden is plan several speciies of plants in the upper two levels, build a redwood arbor at ground level surrounded by marathon soil and a lush gardenscape. The plants are in raised plant boxes and at ground level using plants of various dimensions. Irrigation was installed to keep the plants happy and healthy. Overall, I would recommend RED for your garden as the product was transformative.”

“Andrew Epstein of GLD Landscape & Design removed our turf and plants (both front and back yards) and installed a beautiful drought resistant landscape. Andrew completed the job within agreed timeframe and budget. He was very collaborative in the design process, incorporating and improving upon our suggestions. Andrew was also very flexible; he is especially adept at revising the plan during the installation, as required by the conditions encountered. Andrew provided me with the necessary documentation to receive the DWP rebate. His workers were careful and considerate, and left the work site very tidy every evening. Our yard is now the envy of our neighbors.”

“Pia did a great job designing and installing our new drought-tolerant landscaping. She listened to us when we described what we wanted and was flexible in changing the design to accommodate changes required by our homeowners association and our anticipated use of the property. She picked plants that provide us with a wide variety of color and texture and with different blooming seasons, so that our gardens will be always colorful and changing. She and her team also worked very efficiently, and she coordinated very well with the contractor who we hired to pull up our lawns and cut up parts of our concrete patio in accordance with Pia's designs.”
