“We used the services of Sticks and Stones at a major redevelopment of our residential house in Malabar this year. The renovation included not only major changes to the house, but also to the whole of property including landscape.
Sticks and Stones were used very early in the process, when our vision for the house and landscape was still being developed. Julia and Fiona visited the site on a number of occasions, and designed a plan that was submitted to council and used by our builders as an integral part of our final plans.
The landscaping plan provided was all inclusive, from plants to irrigation and fencing. Julia and Fiona’s vision, plus the work provided by the landscaping team, resulted in a landscaped garden befitting the beautiful house that was built.
The final resulted exceeded our expectations, was completed on time, and within budget. We have no hesitation in recommending Sticks and Stones, and can provide further testimonial if requested.”

“We originally decided to go with Joanne Green as we saw an add in one of the house magazines. We met for a chat about what we wanted and they got back to us with plans for a complete makeover of our garden (front and back) and water feature that met our needs. This included all flower beds, paving, sandstone pathways and verandahs, lighting, and everything set up with it's own watering system. Since then, we have had many compliments about the garden. Joanne Green continues to do maintenance after ten years even though we are not local to Joanne Green. We love our garden!”

Steve was able to understand my waving arms, was always available to explain ideas so that I could see the vision and always had time for many questions. The garden had some challengs, space (or lack of), extending my "unclear" vision, lots of sunlight and wanting to ensure that all was captured in a small space.
Being a busy and single female professional, he assisted overseeing the tradespeople and ensure that I both my garden and I was treated with respect and kept under budget.
The end result is amazing, I am forever getting comments on the evolving garden. The garden was not only an extension of my home but also of my personality.
I will use Outhouse Design to design my next garden design and have highly recommended him to my friends and neighbours, who have all shared in the same great experience I did.”

“We engaged Amanda at Space Designs to come up with a landscaping design for our upcoming knock-down rebuild project on Sydney's northern beaches. Unlike a couple of other landscape designers we'd spoken to previously, her ideas were practical and sensible for our block and impending new home, while still being interesting and attractive. Apart from someone in their office being a bit over-zealous in chasing up the final payment the well before the design was finalised, they've been great to deal with. Their design cost was reasonable and Amanda was able to come and see us at short notice. Will also shortly be asking them for their recommendations re landscape contractors and are confident we can trust their judgement. Really looking forward to how it's going to turn out in real life!”

When we ran into any difficulties (as there always is, eg rock etc), the Harrison's team were quick to point out what their ideas were to overcome these at the most reasonable of costs.
Our renovations involved both Harrison's and a builder on site at the same time and the communication between the two led to the overall success of the project.
