“After admiring a neighbor's new driveway and entry several years ago, we met Petr & Honza, owners of Envy Landscape Design, Inc., who had done the work. Since then, they have completed three projects for us. The first would have been a plain stucco wall without Petr's eye as an architect. We now have a beautiful wall that includes wooden slats mixed in with the stucco. The design fits in with our pre-existing entry and a new wooden gate to our side yard, which Petr designed. Our wall has received rave reviews from our neighbors. The second project was an outdoor kitchen, which has become our favorite place to hang out--with friends or not, and while cooking on the grill or not. It is unique, with wonderful natural materials, designed by Petr. Our most recent project was a new driveway, entry to our home and front yard. We now have curb appeal, with a fountain and colorful, drought-tolerant trees and plants, which are watered by a drip irrigation system. The materials used make for a fresh and modern look, while repeating some of the materials from our backyard, giving continuity from front to back. It is so beautiful that I call their work "art by the yard." Petr & Honza are trustworthy, dependable and hard working. We enjoyed their humor, too, and miss seeing them.”

His estimate was higher than others, but what we received in every aspect was such high quality and there were no additional charges even with some drainage problems he corrected unexpectedly. “In September 2015, we hired Ecology Artisans, which included Tigre Pickett, Chris Marciello and team, to create a more ecological and sightly landscape. [Our home was built by a known architect in the 1940’s, Pre-Mid-Century Modern and it was important that our landscape played off of the off the modern architectural lines and style while incorporating a natural look. Involved initial consultation, preparation of a pictorial design, installation of a creek bed, selection of and location of ground material including large stones, medium stones, pea gravel, and DG, choice and siting of plants of several varieties, installation and revamping and repair of irrigation. Received excellent advice on all phases of the project, The vendor took full account of our wishes, while providing the important expertise of being able to visualize the best arrangement of a mixed array of materials and plants on a particular piece of land.
