“GLD not only completely designed my front and back yard, they maintain it on a regular basis. They respond quickly when I contact them. They go above and beyond. I would recommend GLD to anyone that wants the WOW yard. I want to say to the last person that sent in a review and complained: You are an idiot. I have known the owner of this company for years and he has ALWAYS done a fantastic job. He explains what will work and what will not. I know he explained things to you. Your problem is you did not ask the real boss (your wife) before you said to go ahead with the planting. When she did not like it you made up some crap to save face with her or we know who wears the pants. Bottomline it was YOUR FAULT and NOT this company. So to anyone that read his comment please disregard as he has no class or commonsense.”

“John Newman and his crew are absolute professional. The quality is top notch. He worked with us to get exactly what we asked for - a yard with little to no maintenance that would attract birds and butterflies. We are enjoying our 5th year of watching mockingbirds and bluebird babies hatch in our yard. “After talking with a few other landscape companies, my wife and I hired Prospect Design Co. to come up with a landscaping solution to some drainage issues in our back yard. We were impressed with Chad's approach; it had the practicality we needed, but also a design sensitivity and a sense of craft that I wasn’t seeing in the other companies. His solution was creative, smart, and looks great. He worked within our budget and phased the project out. The first phase (now completed) was hardscaping, including a patio area, pathway and drainage system. The crew went beyond what was expected, and Chad was good about keeping us updated on the progress throughout the project. Overall, it was a great job and we’re looking forward to starting the next phase.”

“Eric is THE best. He has done our design now at 3 home and it seems to only get better. The neat thing is that guests will comment on how comfortable the settings feel and then only later it hits them it had to be a design and then they ask us about who did it. Each place was very different and the thing I like most is he never does a "cookie cutter" like many I have seen - each place got a VERY different design. The other thing is he does help with costs by putting in designs that will grow out in 2-3 years versus "instant" if you have budgets to hit. They look great at install but "fill out" even more over time and I appreciate he is willing to work with our budget limits. You are welcome to come see! Jerry Mabe jmabe@rightpath.com”

“From the very first visit Marcia and her team took complete care of my project, listening to what input I had and realizing a joint vision for the space. Her landscape architect did a perfect job in the space, working in realtime to scope out the project and get my reactions. From there Marcia reviewed planting choices and hard surfaces. Touches like reusing a significant amount of brick from the original garden gave it a perfect blend of new and old. When it came to execution they managed to perform the entire proejct without entering my house - masterful given the 6' wall around the entire space. That level of care and attention to detail was indicative of their entire approach. I never lifted a finger or had to discuss lagging times lines. Nor was I asked to be there for any of the work. Masterful design combined with superb execution are Marcia's hallmarks. She and her team of designers, support staff and craftsmen are world class. I enjoy their work every day and known that they are always there for me to keep things looking great. The last visit from them was a summer refresh. They weeded, trimmed, replanted and checked and reset the irrigation system, and flushed and refilled the fountain. They really care that their gardens remain in great shape and I look forward to working with them for a long time to come.”

“We bought a beautiful home that was 90% perfect. The 10% that wasn't was the front yard and driveway as the house is on a hill and it had ugly junipers on the hill front. I wanted a way to walk to the curb to get my mail and an easier access for guests parking on the street. John Strauss Associates did a great job from start to finish. John was easy to work with in the design of our new terraced front yard that included a beautiful stone staircase. His crews from the demolition of the front yard which was a juniper hill to the stonework crew did an amazing job. The curb appeal of our home now is amazing. I daily receive compliments to the improvement to our home. Absolutely recommend John and his company! I have included a before and after picture so you can see our beautiful new wall and staircase!”

“We hired Steve and his team for a couple hardscape landscaping jobs. More specifically, we had a cedar portico and flagstone porch added to the front of the house and a flagstone and Tennessee fieldstone fire pit, pondless waterfall and sitting area added to the back of our house. The outcome surpassed our expectations. Steve is a true professional and has a gifted vision for what he does. His recommendations for design, stone, colors were right on par and he was very patient with us during the entire process. His demeanor is laid-back and we found him very easy to talk to. We have an orange-colored brick home (not our first choice) and we wanted to add some stone for more dimension and curb appeal. It was very important to us to tie in some warmer stone colors to match the brick. While these colors are hard to find, Steve and his team found some flagstone that worked well with the brick and were tasked with cutting these large pieces of stone to meet our aesthetic desires. We are hiring Arbor Ridge again for our next phase, which is a double decker screened in porch out back. Our neighbor even hired Steve for a front security gate after seeing the work he did with our house. Thanks, Steve and team!”
