“We decided to hire Garden Environments after watching the mulch and soil on the side of our house swept away again and again after a rain fall. Our neighbours hired them and were very satisfied with their work, so we set up an appointment to see what could be done for our property . From beginning to end, this project could not have gone better. The detailed plans, the excellent work done in a timely manner, the plantings, and follow up were all done with care and professionalism. Shortly after the swale was completed, a severe thunderstorm came through and dislodged some of the plantings. A call was made and they were out to our house to fix the damage and prevent it from happening again. This is a company that takes pride in their work and stands by their work. It was pleasure having Garden Environments work its magic. We highly recommend them.”

“You cannot get a more knowledgeable and professional landscape architect in the county. The design, plant selection and thoughtfulness were quite evident in the final plan. Michael also helped with the selection of the Landscape contractor and included elements such as irrigation, lighting, and a comprehensive plant list. What I especially liked was the up-front information he provided on what we (the inexperienced homeowners) would expect during the entire project. It was refreshing to work with someone who we could rely on to provide a great service.”

Wendi is not only a work horse, she comes in with creative energy and expertise that I could NEVER replicate on my own! She picked out plants that are natural to our area, with colors that blended together beautifully. She went beyond the call of duty to keep my costs to a minimum, advising me of local sales and even coming with me on a couple of occasions to pick out plants that fit my personal taste and objectives. I love working with a company that is so into it for the love of gardening as opposed to a love of money! Can't go wrong with Artistry in Plants! :-)”

“We chose Down to Earth out of 5 landscape companies we interviewed in North Raleigh. Of all that we met, they were the only one's that really listened to specific needs and some special design requests. That made the difference and we rarely give 5 stars for anything. The design process helped us realize a direction we had not considered but chose for the final plan. We started with a general target budget to plan within, then once we narrowed down our choices they gave us complete estimates for all the different parts. This was to a phased approach but it the bullet and had them I stall all the same time. The install crews were pleasant and professional, always cleaning up the the end of the day. I know we made the right decision to have Ben and Dave handle our complicated project. It's refreshing to see customer service done right!”

“Laura Kiper with Kiper Landscaping Designs put together a plan for my front yard that was bare of any landscaping. Grass and flat was the before. She drew a plan in detail, provided plant material suggestions that suited our environment and made sure it complemented the house style and colors on the outside.
She went as far as noting on the plan if we didn't want to do the entire install (which wasn't in our budget) which plants to plant to make the biggest impact and then fill in with the rest of the materials.
She took her time walking through the yard making suggestions/care tips and will take my call any time for questions.
Detail oriented and doesn't leave a corner or a spot on the plan with out a thought.
Highly recommend this professional.”
