“The Hursthouse team patiently spent many hours developing a detailed and extensive renovation plan for our entire property. Major features of the plan included: --installing a brick paver driveway bordered by a snapcut limestone retaining wall --installing bluestone front entry walk and porch --rebuilding backyard bluestone patio and new courtyard area with water fountain and cast iron fence border --extensive landscape lighting both front and back --installing imported planter urns on pedestals --extensive tree & shrub planting, perennials & ground cover. The design added great value and enhanced our enjoyment of our property in ways we never anticipated. The entire Hursthouse team took great pride in their work and went to great lengths to make us very satisfied clients.”

“John and the K&D crew re-landscaped 3 sides of our house. We are very pleased with the work they did. John's plans showed imagination & originality that we have not seen elsewhere. This was the first time that we had work done (our 8th residence over 40 years), that did not require us to oversee anything! The professionalism was astounding! If we were present, it was because we were interested in the process. And the only questions to address were changes regarding availability of plantings, etc. The K&D workers were courteous and neat. A pleasure to work with and our compliments to everyone at K&D!”

“My wife and I had built a house and asked Brian from Forest Landscaping for an estimate to sod our front and down the sides to the rear of the house, brick boarder around the house with 18in of stone between the house and boarder, seed and blanket the backyard, plant a bradford pear tree that he grew on his property, and plant 6 other bushes and plants. He listened to what we wanted made suggestions and made a rendition of what the project would look like finished with the house. The price for what we asked was very reasonable and we accepted. We scheduled a day to have the work completed. I left for work at 6 a.m. and arrived home at 4 p.m. the work was 100% completed and cleaned up. Very professional and very personable group of employees! We will use Forest Landscaping in the future to build us a retaining wall in our backyard. We look forward to working with them again!”

“We have used Prassas Landscape for two projects, one was a rooftop garden and the other was a front parkway design. The garden looks great and Stephen has continued to be helpful with respect to it several years later, always quick to answer any questions that have arisen. We are thrilled with the parkway and, shortly after it was completed, our neighbors, who were building a house across the street, asked if we minded if they would copy a signature piece of Stephen's design. I have had well-heeled friends who have used fancy names only to regret not using Planned Environment when their much more expensive results weren't a tenth as successful as purs. This firm produces top designs and knows what plantings work in given situations. I wish we could find an architect of the same caliber in whom we had confidence for our next building project.”
