“We hired Nigel from Cityscapers to design and create a completely new large garden following extensive renovations to our suburban home. He worked closely with us to understand our tastes and what we wanted from the garden, paying attention not just to how it would look, but how we would use it and feel in it when completed. Nigel worked hard to reflect the interior and exterior architecture of the house, using flowing lines, slopes and levels to connect spaces and give structure and meaning to the result. He even incorporated a gurgling stream, with particular attention to the perfect selection and placement of rocks. Nigel also patiently went along with our desire to "own" the result by doing much of the planting ourselves, although I'm sure he'd have done a better job himself. The process has felt very "organic", too, with Nigel eschewing noisy and polluting tools where possible, making sure we started composting and encouraging us to get involved. The end result is a garden that's simply a delight to be in, and we're excited to see it mature and develop under Nigel's guidance. I highly recommend Cityscapers for their design vision and flair, their meticulous attention to detail and total fearlessness in the face of some backbreaking work.”

“Catherine did a great job from beginning to end. I needed to completely change the back and front gardens. She had great ideas on what would work and what would not, how to deliver the look I wanted and how to keep it within budget. I couldn't be more happy with the results. Both gardens look great - the neighbours have all commented on the front garden. She worked well with the builder who did the landscaping. She's also been happy to replace a plant that died and fix an irrigation pipe someone else broke. I cant believe how many plants I have. Given the money available for plants, I expected a small number of small plants, but the garden is full of lovely plants and it looks well established after only 3 months.
