“We met Adan through our contractor and hired him to faux finish a number of places in our house. First he did a marvelous gray stain on the walls of our Speakeasy AirBnB. The stain turned what was cheeky pine panels into a very sophisticated room. He then stained the bench shelves a dark color to match the front of the bar, and framing of the bar turning the room in a multi-hued affair. All of the stain was done professionally, it looks amazing and is jaw dropping for anyone that comes to stay. We had Adan work on the trim in our living room matching old mahogany stains on new pine framed windows. The end result is a perfect coat that ties the new windows to the old vintage ones. We can't wait to have him back and do the beams in our ceiling and other wood based porjects. Adan is a professional and artist at the top of his game. He's truly marvelous and I'd recommend him to anyone that needs faux finishing or specialty painting work done in their house.”

“FDZ was one of the best experiences we have had with contractors in the 30 years we have lived in Noe Valley. Everything went wonderfully. The entire work crew were professional craftspeople, friendly, and accommodating. FDZ's first success with us was the owner, Juan's, reassurance about the materials he uses. He also gave us lots of space (and color swatches on the garage door) to make our final color decisions. Throughout the project FDZ kept to their promised schedule. They did some long days into the winter twilight to make sure our house was done on time. FDZ did a spectacular job preparing our ivy-invaded stucco front walls (see the pictures), the mold-invaded back spots, and the thinly painted spots from the last painting. Every metal nail or spot was rust protected. They sanded, power washed, and sanded again. They used lots of care and commitment, and even the ivy infected walls were completely smoothed and ready for the paint. And when FDZ's team painted, they were careful, professional, and clean. They were so tidy that they cleaned our laundry sink to a scum-free level it hadn't been in years. They stored their work materials orderly and out of our normal paths in the basement and back yard. We recommend them highly.”

“Level Five Painting did an outstanding job on our two story home in Berkeley, California. Prior to bidding Juan Cerritos carefully reviewed all surface materials and conditions, recommended top-of-the-line sealant for joints between stucco and wood surfaces, and proposed adding weep holes at deck railings after repainting to improve drainage. The crew assigned to the job, Javier and Marvyn, were prompt every day, worked very hard and were always courteous. They were very thorough in their prep work and the application of finish coats to insure long-term integrity of the job. Level Five sets the highest bar for quality and customer satisfaction!”
